What exactly are you writing about?

the topic is the queer reception of captain america, so basically i’m writing about how steve is being read as queer by a mostly female, in great parts queer fandom, and what the transformative work of the fandom (e.g. fanfiction) can tell us about their attitude towards the source material. i hope i can finish the queer reading part tomorrow, and then i’ll take a two day break petting dogs, and then i’ll analyze a few fics to hopefully underline the points i made in the queer reading. it’s coming together okay at this point, it’s actually way more fun than i thought. i’m just still hella insecure about if it holds up as a scientific work or if it’s just borderline offensive queer fandom rambling. we’ll see :)

I can recommend you to at least take a look into Steven Universe. I only watched the first few episodes so far but it has lots of interesting characters.

i just feel the need to point out that i never willingly and enthusiastically plastered my room with pictures of half naked chris evans (though i will admit that i willingly and enthusiastically never took all of them off)

Hey man there'll finally be 2 cons for comics in Germany, the German Comic Con in Dortmund in Dec and the Comic Con Germany in Stuttgart in June, would be cool to see you there again rockin your Bucky cosplay! Though I am sure you don't remember me.

Of course I remember you! You were pushing me around in the trolley. I’ll probably be at both conventions with my WS cosplay but I’ll also be wearing my new outfit of Bucky’s dress uniform from the first movie with my partner as Steve.
