Planning on doing a Monster AU too (Ik, what a surprise), but not sure who should be the vampire and who should be the werewolf between Tom and Maddie (can't beat the werewolf/vampire ship).

The vampire will be able to withstand sunlight for short periods of time, and the werewolf will still have ears, tail and sharp teeth in human form.
This will also affect Mobians, with Sonic going to be the werehog, Tails being more like a kitsune with their abilities, and Knuckles being a golem.
I had a compelling reason for choosing this specific monster form for my main sona.
Babalu in her hybrid monster form

Pros:
She is immune to the power of a gorgon (since she is already immortal, she won't turn to stone) and to fire (she won't get burned). Her unique biological genetics set her apart from other monsters. She is capable of regeneration and self-healing. Thanks to a fast metabolism, she can eat any food without health issues. She possesses heightened senses and can control any element. She gains enhanced strength, speed, agility, and nimbleness. She can terrify bad people, much like the Boogeyman. She knows how to communicate with the undead and clowns.
Cons:
Her appearance frightens some people, which deeply upsets her. She has a habit of pushing away those she despises. She flies into a rage and becomes aggressive when she sees a threat to her friends—the undead or clowns. She inflicts severe injuries, becoming a threat to her victims herself.
The story of her transformation:
Babalu went for a walk, pondering why clowns turn into monsters.
Realizing what was happening, she ran closer and saw a horrifying scene that left her shocked and bewildered: all the clones had turned into monsters. She couldn't believe it.
Shaken and repulsed by the fate of the others, she fled in terror to the witch's house.
Upon arriving, she told the witch what had happened to the clowns. The witch refused to discuss the nightmare that had befallen them but offered to turn Babalu into a hybrid monster. Babalu agreed; she had to prepare a potion containing the genetic material of specific types of monsters. After preparing the potion, she drank it all the way down.
With a flash of lightning, she suddenly began transforming into a hybrid monster.
Realizing she had changed into an immortal hybrid monster, she thanked the witch for the idea and left her home.
Stepping outside, she set out to find food. Stumbling upon an eatery, she realized exactly what she craved: fish or meat. She chose both.
Having satisfied her hunger, she came across clones who had already taken on monster forms and told them she had gained immortality and transformed into a hybrid monster. They realized that what had happened to her was the cause of her altered appearance; the whole situation became clear to them.
There was a good reason why I chose this monster form for my main sona.

She has gorgon immunity since she’s already immortal, so she won’t turn to stone. She also has fire immunity, so she won’t get burned. Her distinctive features from the other monsters are her biological genetics. Able to regenerate by healing herself. Can be able to eat any food without getting sick because of her fast metabolism. Enhanced senses. She is able to control any element. She gains increased strength, speed, agility, and dexterity. Able to scare bad people similar to how a boogeyman does. Can communicate with the undead and clowns.
Cons:
Some people fear her appearance, which is really offensive to her. The habit of alienating anyone who she despises. When she sees her undead and clown friends being threatened, she becomes angered and becomes violent. Causes unbearable trauma. She becomes a threat to victims.
Background of her becoming:

Because of her realizing everything, She ran over and saw a horrible sight that shocked her into something she didn’t understand: All the clones are in the form of monsters. She didn’t believe it.
Repulsed upon seeing the aftermath of the fate of the others, She ran off in disgust and she ran to the witch’s house.
Upon going there, She told the witch something awful happened to the clones. The witch refused speak of the horrors that occurred to them and told Babaloo that she’ll be a hybrid monster. She agreed and had to make a concoction which has the genetics of certain monster species.
After making the concoction, She drank the whole bottle.
In a strike of lightning, She suddenly started changing to become a hybrid monster.
After that, She knew she has changed and has become like an immortal hybrid monster. She thanked the witch for the idea and left the witch’s house.
Upon leaving, She looked for something to eat. When she came across a food place, she knew what was on her mind. It was either fish or meat. She went for both options.
After eating the food to prevent her from starving, she came across the clones already in the form of monsters and told them that she turned immortal and became a hybrid monster. They never thought what happened to her caused her appearance to change. They all understood the whole thing.

Плюсы:

История ее превращения:
Бабалу вышла на прогулку, размышляя о том, почему клоны превращаются в монстров.
Осознав происходящее, она подбежала ближе и увидела ужасающую картину, повергшую ее в шок и смятение: все клоны превратились в монстров. Она не могла в это поверить.
Потрясенная и испытывая отвращение при виде участи остальных, она в ужасе убежала к дому ведьмы.
Придя туда, она рассказала ведьме о том, что случилось с клонами. Ведьма отказалась обсуждать постигший их кошмар, но предложила Бабалу стать монстром-гибридом. Та согласилась; ей пришлось приготовить зелье, содержащее генетический материал определенных видов монстров.
Приготовив зелье, она выпила его до дна.
Вспышка молнии — и она внезапно начала превращаться в монстра-гибрида.
Осознав, что изменилась и стала бессмертным монстром-гибридом, она поблагодарила ведьму за идею и покинула ее дом.
Выйдя наружу, она принялась искать еду. Наткнувшись на закусочную, она поняла, чего именно хочет: рыбы или мяса. Она выбрала оба варианта.
Подкрепившись, чтобы не умереть с голоду, она наткнулась на клонов, уже принявших облик монстров, и рассказала им, что обрела бессмертие и превратилась в гибридного монстра. Они поняли, что именно произошедшее с ней привело к таким изменениям в её внешности; вся ситуация стала им ясна.

[The camera shows a young man in his mid to late 20s, smiling enthusiastically into the camera. He had strawberry blond hair, light stubble on his chin. From what the camera can see, he's wearing a blue plaid flannel shirt and is standing next to his blue sedan]
Zack: What is up, guys! Zack here! So sorry about the lack of uploads recently, I really should've warned you. But I've recently moved out of my apartment and I managed to actually get myself a house! And for like, 50 grand at most! *Chuckles* Yeah, in this economy, that's a steal! Anyway, I'm about to leave. Got everything packed up *briefly shows the boxes in the back of his car* and I'm about to take you with me.
[He climbs into his car and drives off. The camera perspective switches to the dash cam. What follows is a spliced up video showing him driving away from his old apartment building, down the street. We can see passing building and cars. It then cuts to him passing the 'You are now leaving Playville' sign]
Zack: There is it, guys. This is it. We're starting off fresh.
[It cuts between various takes, highlighting his favorite moments. It then cuts to the other dash cam facing him as he's blasting metal music, lip syncing, and making ridiculous faces]
Zack, lip-syncing: Faster! Wilder! We come alive under fire!
[It then shows up him passing a field with a heard of goats grazing. Zack screams at the top of his lungs before laughing as they all faint]
Zack, suppressing laughter: I didn't think that were all fainting goats!
[We then see Zack has parked his car in a gas station. He enters his car with two large bags of snacks]
Zack: I always do this. Why am I like this?!
[It's back to him driving and lip-syncing again]
Zack: Daisy dukes, bikinis on top
[By the time he passes the sign reading 'Welcome Smiling Valley', it's the sun is beginning to set]
Zack: UGH! It's been hours!
[It then cuts to Zack pulling up to his new two story, red-shingled house. We cut to Zack's personal camera as he steps out of his car and slams the door shut]
Zack: *sighs heavily* Finally! Home sweet home! Here it is, guys. It's looking pretty sweet already!
Voice: Hi, there!
[Startled, Zack turns around and the camera shows an orange dog critter, smiling wide, tail wagging, and waving enthusiastically]
Zack: Who the hell are you?!
DogDay: Sorry. *Chuckles* I'm DogDay! You must be the new guy that's moving in!
Zack: Oh... Y-yeah! Yeah, I am! I'm Zack. Oh, [censored]. Is it okay if I film you? And How did you know I'm the one moving here?
DogDay: Not a worry. Hello to whoever's watching this! And to answer your question, I'm something of an unofficial welcoming committee head, if you know what I mean.
Zack: Oh, sweet.
DogDay: [Sees the boxes] You need help unpacking?
Zack: I don't wanna bother you.
DogDay: No, no. I insist.
Zack: Uh... Okay? Cool. Thanks.
[The camera cuts and Zack and DogDay are shown placing the last of the former's stuff on the floor]
Zack: I still can't believe I was able to get this place for so cheap.
DogDay: Count yourself lucky, pal.
Zack: I suppose I better get to unpacking now. Thanks for the help, DogDay.
DogDay: Anytime. I can tell already you're gonna be here for a long time.
[Zack and DogDay dap each other up that turns into a handshake]
Zack, groaning and clutching his hand: Man, you're stronger than you look.
DogDay: *laughs* I get that a lot. I really got watch myself. Well, I'll see you around, Zack!
[DogDay leaves. Zack then picks up his camera and hold it up to his face]
Zack: Well, looks like I just made my first friend here. That's gonna be all for now, gang. I gotta start un packing, but I'll have some new videos for you as soon as I can. But until then, stay safe.
