💛 what’s your favourite aspects of their relationship dynamics ?

I'm doing Xunyang here though I also wanna say Chaoyu (Wen Chao/Mo Xuanyu, which again can't/doesn't happen in canon but was developed in post-revival rp with @sugarapplebaby) bc... Soft

For Xunyang it's definitely that they're opposites designed to slot together. I am a complete fucking SLUNT for the I help you-you help me/healing together dynamic and I play into that as much as I can. Instead of a pure good vs evil dynamic, it's there cannot be shadows without light. They're an embodiment of balance maintained by extremes and I'm just gay in my corner doing my thing

For Chaoyu it's that Chao is doing everything he can to be good for mxy. He's revived, he's got nothing, he's scared of dying again so he wants to get his shit together, and then he meets this guy who doesn't know much about him at all, who is so sweet and open with him and treats him like an actual human being; not a nuisance or a war criminal or Oh Young Master Wen, You Pay Me To Say You're Hot. He learns mxy is the son of that traitor garbage human being Jgs and breaks him out of lanling to go live in Qishan (timelines are altered for the sake of story a little, mxy is in his 20s), just. As pals. But he harbors feelings for him and wants to be the best human he can be, not to get mxy to love him for once, but because its what mxy deserves. Him and every other friend he's managed to make. It's all over on this twitter but if you go there now it might be absolute incomprehensible chaos, but the development of this Chao iteration all happened originally over on @general-nuisance-wen-chao lol
