Thomas: Okay, great! The library is just over there. Then, if you like to read, we can sign you up for a library card as well. We’d have to talk to Logan for that though. He should be awake. I don’t think he sleeps.

Thomas: He’s got a lot of problems he doesn’t want to face in his dreams.

That smile suggests the statement was a pun, but you’re not quite sure. Either way, you’re excited to meet this Logan person, and maybe you can find a book or two on Sidestone to answer a few of your questions.

"Until you leave." So I CAN leave if I have to...? This place... You're very welcoming, Thomas, and I'm sure this town is safer than being alone in the woods, but something about this place would feel a lot MORE safe if I knew that I could go back home if I had to.

Thomas: Of course. I’d never make someone stay here longer than they wanted to. If you want to go home, all you have to do is tap the bracelet three times, and I’ll find you no matter where you are. Then, I’ll take you home.

Thomas: Well, I haven’t figured out how to make one yet. I’m still learning, but she used to give this bracelet to strangers all the time too, so I don’t think she’d mind. Besides, it’s not the only one.

Thomas: Oh! Everyone here only comes out at night, and since it’s pretty early, no one’s really awake yet, or they’re out doing their own thing. But, there might be two people you could meet. Where would you like to go first, the library or the theater? Whichever one you don’t pick we’ll go to second.

' Cassandra faced her foggy eyes toward the stranger, who looked at her in concern and confusion. "Ma'am, are you okay?" She shook her head, just slightly, with a wince at the pain in her head, made worse by the movement. "What's going on?"
