You all loitered around the library, there was nowhere else to go. For your own safety, Dominique had magically sealed the doors so nobody would fall. The air was dense with macabre emotions, all of you watched your own classmate be executed, torn limb from limb.

Thankfully for you, the library was huge, giving you all the personal space you needed to cope. Or maybe being around you friends helped more? However you spent it, the hours passed painfully slowly. Even Dominique refrained from making any comments on the situation.

Time passed, and finally, the silence was broken by what initially felt like another earthquake. It wasn’t just that, though. From either side of the library came sounds of rattling and banging, akin to multiple sledgehammers being whacked against the walls.

“O-oh dear… everyone! Please take cover! The castle is reforming!” Dominique meant well, but there wasn’t too much to hide under here, if you couldn’t find a table or one of those fancy sofas, you just had to shield yourself with your arms. The clamour continued for a while, before everything was suddenly more… still.

Cautiously, Dominique opened the door to the library, meeting everyone with a harsh gust of cold air. “Oh… I see.” They sounded pretty accepting of the current change in weather. They turned around to address  the ragtag bundle of teens, “The castle… has rebuilt itself, in a very different form, too.” they explained. “I believe everything from before is.. lost. I hope you brought all you needed.” they pushed the door open further, ushering you out of the library. “I’m somewhat familiar with this area, stay close, and I’ll find you another place to rest.”

The cold is unforgiving, but provides some odd sights, such as… cars? Cars in a castle like this? How odd. Regardless, you all eventually make it inside, navigating an old laboratory, before Dominique shows you a pathway to what seems like a guesthouse. “There’s a few rooms around here. Be wary, I can’t protect these halls, but if you don’t harass the Persephone, all should be safe.”

Well, time to do more dorm shenanigans.

Chapter 2 - Dance of Illusions - Start!

Under Pressure

A few days of pause let you continue life as normally as you could, with two of your classmates very much deceased. Beebee’s announcements kept you to a relatively eathly day/night cycle, while you travelled the stars. 

It was just another average afternoon when an announcement broke you away from your daily life. 

“Bzzt! We shall be landing on Nayzak-γ soon! Please prepare for landing protocol, bzzt!” 

Already you knew the drill. When you landed, you went to get your spacesuits on. Stepping outside, you immediately notice a difference in gravity, it was pulling you all down greatly. There, Oberon and Beebee await, alongside a new face.

“Nayzak-γ, Heart of the Fallen Meteor. This is the second location.” He is intentionally not discussing any of your thoughts or comments about him, strictly staying on his own agenda, a rehearsed..tone? “You will reside here and explore to your heart's content within the designated borders. Perhaps this may suit more of your liking than before, perhaps not.” Oberon looks over to the side. “Saros here is the primary guardian of this place. You are to abide by their rules, should they have any.”

A pink, hourglass shaped entity floated down to greet everyone. 

“Hello! It’s an honour to be part of this, Oberon! It’s been a rather long time since we’ve had humans inhabiting Nayzak-γ! I will note rules as we require them, but for nowwww… I’m very happy to observe! ♥”

Beebee chimed in, tapping away at something as he did.

“Bzzt bzzt! We have also added the new map and translators to your devices! Please use them to talk to locals!” 

Oberon remains in a still position. 

“From here on out, there are official rules regarding your trip enforced by us. Do familiarize yourselves with them.” 

Chapter 2, Lost Truth - START

A Spooky Revelation

As the next morning… afternoon?  Evening!?  It’s hard to tell time at this point, you just know that you feel relatively rested you'd find that your tablet has a new message for you.

“Rise and shine everyone, we’ve got a new set for you to explore.  Are you a fan of horror?  Spooks and scares?  Blood and gore and so much more!?  Well then look no further, if you go south in the walkway you’ll find a new place to find such horrifying ordeals.  And of course, nothing says horror like murder so go and have fun with those new toys!”

Things seemed to be getting bigger at least, more room and less people.  Even Chiriko’s body seems to have been cleaned up from the Disaster Building to… who knows where.

Never the less you might as well continue looking around right?

The most apt way to describe everyone after the class trial was miserable. Devastated by such a gruesome loss, yet many also felt resentment towards a certain classmate after all was said and done. It was hard to make some vague semblance of a recovery after that. 

By the time you had risen back up the elevator, it was well into the morning, but even so, you all decided sleep was in order. The royals of the resort were kind enough to give you the full day to recover. Albeit, with some facilities closed off temporarily. 

The next morning, it was back to business as usual, the Queen waddled up and down the corridors, banging together pots and pans to wake everyone up, alongside a bright and cheery “WAKEY WAKEY!!!!!!!!!! EGGS AND BAKEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

She had indeed summoned a large herd of robobutlers, ready for room service, and whether you stepped out your room to hear her news or not, she was going to make sure you heard it by YELLING!!!!!!!!

“GOOD MOWNING EVEWYONE!!!!!!!! WE’VE GOT SOME NEW PWACES FOW YOU TO CHECK OUT!!!!!! LOOK AT YOUW MAPS!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND DA RENTAL KISOK HAS SOME NEWWWWWWWW STUFF!!!!!!!!! AND THEWE’S A SPA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A WONDEWFUW SPA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

She’s SO excited to be announcing all these new nice things for you! She waves goodbye to anyone who was out in the halls, 

“HAVE A NICE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PWEASE WELAX AND ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Despite everything, the Queen still wants you all to have a good time. 

Chapter 2 - Diamond in the Sky - START!

The night following the trial lasted an eternity. Far too long. That creature… the outcome… Inaya’s fate. It all added to the weight the night bared.

Even into the next daytime, most of you didn’t wake, or just refused to, until Wallace could be heard via a megaphone.

“Wake up. Suns out, new places to see. You can’t wallow for too long here.” Remember when the monsters were attracted to the noise you made? “Daylight’s burning, and so is my fucking patience.”

Just like that, you all drag yourselves out to see the foul-mouthed tourguide, who gives a nod of greeting, “Sup. None of you are coping. At all. That fucking blows, I know.”

“Uh, but you guys are kind of burning through supplies this end of town, so the sooner you find a way up, the sooner you can get more stuff. Especially fuckin’ medical supplies. You guys get fuckin’ hurt. ANYWAY, that new key the fuckin… blonde girl took? It’s an apartment key. Just not for these ones. Have fun.”

He turns on his heel and starts to leave. And then turns back. “Oh, yeah, the town is pissed. Super fucking pissed, so, get some damn weapons.” And there he goes

Chapter 2 - The Bitter Season - Start!

Hell’s Kitchen Hath No Fury | Chapter 2 START

Everyone had gone their separate ways after the trial, quietly reflecting in their own ways.

Who really knew how much time had passed?

Who really knows how much time passes here to begin with, anyways?

But after some vague period of time, the silence was broken by a rough static.

“GOOOOOOOOOOD MOOOOOOOOOORNIIIIIIIIIIIING!”

Ow. That was loud.

And then silence.

“I SAID-”

“Atsu-nee... They can’t talk back to you when you’re using the PA system.”

“O-Oh, right, right. Was that too much?”

“No... Just get on with it.”

“Fiiine.”

“I’m pleased to announce that the door to your next lesson has been opened!”

“The door that opened is in the lighthouse!”

Oh. There. Why’d it have to be there, of all places... But she couldn’t sense your unease.

“Sooo... At any rate, the door’s been like... open for a few hours, I just... didn’t wanna rush ya and all, so...”

“Whenever you’re feelin’ up to it, go pull on up the map page and look for the open door on the lighthouse! Enjoy!”

She sounded way too cheery for the mood. Was something up with this? Or was she just... happy?

Well, it’s time to find out. Pursue the next door at your own risk...
