...So are 1000 Ultramarines actually expected to defend the *500* worlds of Ultramar? I'd assumed the place was swarming with successor chapters to at least match the heresy-era Ultramarines in numbers but in Chapter's Due they don't seem to be there.
No wonder the place keeps getting invaded.
(And yeah I know they have potentially billions of regular human military but. Ultramarines are their BRAND.)
