Chapter 5, Episode 9- What it showed us:

Episode 9 gave us ALL an impression, and it confirmed so many things about what they were like before they meet.

The first thing is that this episode confirms that Sam and Kit didn't meet until they were both Senior agents. (Which disputes the Junior Agent theory, unfortunately :() The second thing is that it doesn't seem like CLADE zoologists and detectives seem to interact all that much, nor does it seem like partners are a common thing in the agency. Sam and Kit, despite BOTH working in the Sam agency for what SEEMS like a while, considering that they are both seniors, never seemed to know each other until AFTER Director Scratch introduced them to each other.

This means neither of them even SAW each other in all that time, or even INTERACTED, and even if they did see each other in the hallways or something like that, they would have introduced each other at least ONCE considering how outgoing Kit is. IT'S WEIRD.

It's giving me the theory that zoologists and agents work in SEPARATE wings, and it's triggered SO MANY QUESTIONS.

-Did Sam and Kit start living together in the same dorm AFTER they became partners?

-Do detectives and zoologists have separate wings? Do they not normally interact? Despite YEARS being in the same agency?

-HOW DID EACH OF THEM JOIN INDIVIDUALLY (okay this is NOT related but still)

I have SO MANY QUESTIONS.

hey so is anyone talking about how gerson says "Chapter 5: The Field of Pink and Gold" and that's literally IMAGE_FRIEND's colors or did i just miss that part of the deltarune discussion

like i know it's very clear that it's gonna have a lot to do with asgore anyways im not saying it WONT but there's a good chance that Friend is going to be important to this chapter, especially since it seems we're a lot closer to the end than people think (unless there's more surprise chapters)

there could also be an argument to be made that he says "Pink and GOLD" specifically to differentiate it but... kinda hard to differentiate yellow from gold in a pixel art game anywho so...

anyways i hope people much smarter than i take this theory and run with it PLEASE
