♔ : Finding the other wearing their clothes
Logan’s eyes fluttered open slowly, sunlight peeking through the curtains of the hotel window, causing his eyebrows to furrow as his eyes adjusted. He yawned, rolling over and expecting to find Sawyer asleep beside him, only to see an empty bed. Momentarily confused, he looked over to the other side of the room, a lazy grin spreading along his face when he saw him. Sawyer was standing in the small kitchen area fixing what looked like some bagels he got from room service, wearing a pair of boxers and the t-shirt Logan had been wearing before they got into bed last night. “That shirt’s probably really gross. Had all my show sweat on it,” he grinned, his morning voice a bit hoarse and playful. He slowly got out of the bed, not bothering to worry about clothes, and made his way over to his boyfriend. “Thank you for flying out here, baby. Best surprise ever,” he whispered, arms wrapping around him from behind as he dropped a kiss to his neck.
♟: Patching up a wound
“Shh, it’s alright. It’ll only sting for a second,” Logan whispered gently, tongue peeking out of his lip as he furrowed his eyebrows in concentration. “Okay, there. Done,” he said quietly, removing the cloth he had been holding against a deep cut on Sawyer’s lip. He sighed a little, looking at his boyfriend with sad eyes as he ran a hand through his blonde waves, taking in the bruise on his jaw as well. He didn’t even want to think about how badly his torso may be bruised, but he knew he’d have to check that out too momentarily. His jaw involuntarily clenched when he thought about the homophobic, lowlife jock assholes who did this to him, and it took everything in him not to march to Sawyer’s college campus and beat the fuck out of all of them. “I’m so sorry they did this to you, baby. I’m glad I’m actually here to help this time, though,” Logan whispered into the quietness of Sawyer’s apartment, leaning forward to kiss his boyfriend’s forehead. “If I weren’t so worried about you, I’d probably be across town kicking their teeth down their throats. They have no idea what’s coming for them next time I see them.” Reaching down, Logan bit his lip as he started to pull up Sawyer’s shirt to check the bruises there as well.
♤: Taking a bath together
If Logan had to choose one moment and live in it forever, it would definitely be this one. His eyes were closed as soft music filled his ears, currently on some Ed Sheeran song, his finger tracing soft lines along Sawyer’s arm. He was leaning back in the bathtub, his boyfriend sitting in between his legs with his back to his chest. After what had been an exhausting day of interviews and a radio performance, Logan had come back to the apartment to find their bathroom decorated in candles, and a bashful looking Sawyer waiting for him. Logan was sure to never take moments like these for granted, hugging the boy against him a little bit tighter and pressing soft kisses to his shoulders. “All I want is the taste that your lips allow,” he mumbled the lyrics into Sawyer’s damp skin, arms fully encircling the blond’s waist now. “I love you so much, you know that? Thank you. For everything.” For doing this, for staying with me, for fighting for me, for loving me. Logan kept his thoughts to himself as Sawyer tilted his head back to kiss him, instead wondering how much longer he’d be able to wait until getting a ring on Sawyer’s finger.

Logan’s heart was pounding. He was pretty sure he was going to bite the skin on his lip raw, his palms sweaty where the rested at his sides. His eyes skimmed along the crowd, seeing all familiar, smiling faces– he was glad they decided to have a smaller wedding. He glanced over at his bandmates, who were his groomsmen for the evening, who all nodded and gave him smirks and thumbs up. But when the music picked up once more and the door to the aisle opened, Logan felt his breath hitch. Sawyer started walking down the aisle, cheeks red and dimples showing, smiling brighter than Logan had ever seen him. When their eyes locked, both of them were unable to look away, even when Sawyer was finally in front of him and everyone took their seats. Logan’s eyes were filled with tears and adoration, looking at the boy in front of him who within only minutes would be his husband. “You’re beautiful,” he mouthed as the officiant began speaking. Instead of answering, Logan watched as Sawyer reached up to adjust Logan’s bow-tie, bringing a small fit of laughter out of the crowd. He giggled a little as Sawyer blushed, reaching for his hands and squeezing them, before bringing his knuckles to his lips and kissing them softly.

Logan hated coming home late, but sometimes he just couldn’t help it. After a long day at the studio working on their fifth album, the brunet was finally able to come home. He knew he’d missed dinner, since it was nearly 8 at night, and of course he felt terrible, but he figured it was better than being gone all night. “Baby? I’m home,” he called out once he entered the house, hanging up his coat and sliding his shoes off. He furrowed his eyebrows when he heard music playing from the kitchen, along with soft giggles. But when he heard a familiar voice, he instantly relaxed. Smiling a little to himself, Logan made his way to the entryway of the kitchen, his heart melting at the sight. His husband had their four year old daughter standing on his toes, her blond curls still damp from a bath as the two of them danced slowly on the tiled floor, laughs leaving both of their lips. Logan felt tears in his eyes just from the sight, watching Sawyer twirl her around before his gaze met Logan’s. Logan’s eyes held so much love and passion in them as he looked at his little family, sniffling a little as he walked over and knelt down, his little girl immediately running into his arms. “Daddy!” She squealed, giggling as Logan immediately kissed her little chubby cheeks. “Hi, princess. Mind teaching me a few moves?” He asked her as he pulled away enough to look at her face, glancing up at his husband with a soft smile afterwards. He wouldn’t trade this for the world.
