Char and Amuro are so, so, so deeply weird and unable to communicate normally and yet they understand each other perfectly. this is mutually assured socially unacceptable behavior. i didn't know i needed Amuro intimately carving Char up at a time of peace content this bad, but i did. i really did. this is such good writing of them at a CCA adjacent time period.
