Pairing: Rorschach/Nite Owl II

Summary: "Patrol tomorrow," Rorschach says, paused at the basement door. His voice is designed for threats and for violence; gentleness doesn't sit easily on his tongue. To Dan, it sounds a little like pain. "You are more than I deserve, sometimes."

Review: A rimming fic, Rorschach style. By which I mean odd, deep heart-breaking, dark and illogically sexy. Don't let the somewhat weird beginning put you off, this is a beautiful piece of character study.

Fandom: Avengers

Summary: Bruce gets low again. Really, really low. He tries to do something about that, but none of the Avengers will let him.

Review: absolutely don't read this if mentions of suicide will trigger you, because that's pretty much the whole fic.

That said, this is a suprisingly hopeful fic, and much as we might hate to admit it, a very in character Bruce. A beautifully written bit of introspection and character study that I'd class as a must read for Bruce fans.

Fandom: Teen Wolf

Pairing: Derek/Stiles (kinda platonic, kinda pre-slash)

Summary: Stiles doesn't lie to hurt other people, he lies to hurt himself

Review: Oh gods the feels. So many of them.

This fic is completely believable (I think it's canon) and it hurts. So. Damn. Much.

Read it.

Review: I suspect most of you will have read this, since it won the Teen Wolf fanfic contest. It's a interesting fic (though in desperate need of a beta) that deals with aspects of Stiles' ADHD that tends to get forgotten by both the fandom (and I'm as guilty of that as anyone, I freely admit) and the writers of the show (although the writers really aren't that hot on the details of Stiles' condition tbh - it's their biggest failing).
