Okay, so an asker over on @thebrightsessions official tumblr knows that I will make basically any mix if prompted, so I made a Damien-and-Mark-Bro-Out-On-A-Road-Trip Mix. I have no so many regrets.

Run Away With Me - Carly Rae Jepsen (okay, someone on tumblr posted about how Damien would love Emotion and I can’t find the post anywhere but it has been HAUNTING ME because Emotion is absolutely an album that Damien would secretly love and I can’t believe I was called out like that. Also, Emotion is the best pop album in years, maybe ever.)

This one is the newest addition - it is by Evan Cunningham’s band Far Places. Evan composes all the music for @thebrightsessions and is really awesome and you guys should buy his music)
Honorable mention: “Hold On” by Wilson Philips, which is the only song you ever need on the road but is too near and dear to my heart to put on this ridiculous thing.

"Hypothesized," she would always correct them, not even bothering to look up from her work in the lab. "You have hypothesized that I am one of the first. Theories are tested and proven. You cannot test or prove me. I am a hypothesis." They believed her to be one of the first to toe the line between life and death and come back changed, and she studied everything she could about them.
"They say that humankind advances In Extremis," she murmured into a recorder as she jotted down a few more notes. "At the point of death. After studying the cases provided to me by the United States Agency and the London Institute, I can pinpoint the causation of each subjects' powers directly to a point when they were In Extremis. I have also traveled back to the Extremis point when given permission to do so and have confirmed in each instance that the event that left each subject so close to the point of death evolved them to the point where they developed abilities."
She paused, frowned, and scribbled another note. "I have traced all Extremis events, save for my own. I am the outlier. I cannot be tested or proven or made control because my Extremis -- the event that gave me my ability to jump through time -- also took away my memories. I do not recall my point of Extremis, only that it took place and I am more the changed for it."
