Not enough, apparently.

Cana is the only person Loke is okay to show affection toward. Overly affectionate. The women who would cling to him would the be the ones giving him the affection or attention, it was never the other way around. Sure, he would spare some time or glances at other women, but he did not find interest in them. He did not seek out for attention from them, it was just presented out of the blue or given freely.

He is insufferable when it comes to Cana, and even when they were friends he would seek her out for her approval or just to be in the same proximity of her. Once he became comfortable enough, he would lean his head on her shoulder a lot more, take food from her plate ( knowing it would aggravate her ), hold her hand, and be in her bubble. Though, if she was not in the mood for his little antics, he would respect her boundaries.

As lovers, it was as if they were one person entirely. Actions were like they knew what the other was thinking, coordinating flawlessly, and always in sync with one another ( emotions and physical ). To others, it was extremely obnoxious and dreadful to watch all the subtle ( and not so subtle ) public affection they would display.

She had a way with making him feel safe, even in his darkest days. The way she displayed her own affection back was what made him grew so fond of her. She'd let him do all these stupid little touches, nudges, and leans. There was always a way where she'd connect with him, as if it were apart of her being to do so.

Even now, in their complicated situation, they can be seen always trying to find a way to connect with one another.

I know I’ve mentioned this in passing before but Anton turning his victims into short-term best buddies is probs my fav thing about his lonely ass.

It’s his job to sometimes not just kill a guy but bring the body to a certain location. So, for these jobs, he’ll wait till the very last minute to kill the person and basically have a road trip with them -- except they’re tied up, laying in the backseat, and gagged half the time. He’ll sneak them into hotel rooms though, and pour beer into their mouth, and talk their fucking ear off, and maybe jerk off in front of them just for fun. And the person usually plays along because they think, hey, if I get close to the freak maybe he won’t kill me. But he always does. Sometimes indulges in a little light torture too because he can.

But after he off’s them, he does go through a little mourning period. Not for the person, just for the company. And because he knows that’s the closest he’ll be to someone in a while. :,)
