Having once again left Teal to fend for himself when it came to climbing up the stairs, Levi paused outside of his bedroom door to wait for him to catch up and smiled at him when he did. “C’mon, slow poke,” he said quietly, wary of the sleeping members of his household as he entered the room. He allowed Teal to enter before he turned to close the door, sighing out of relief that they managed to get in without a huge commotion. Turning back towards the other male, he expected him to be settling on the bed like normal, but instead found him standing right behind him. “Teal?” He asked curiously, unable to read the look he was receiving from him. Next thing he knew(the apparently intoxicated male was quicker than he anticipated), Levi was pushed against the wall and had fervent lips molding against his own. This could’ve been Levi’s chance to at least allow himself to feel like his feelings were reciprocated, but he couldn’t, not now. He raised his hands to give a firm shove to Teal’s chest and didn’t stop to look at his reaction, already heading towards his bed to grab a blanket. “I’m gonna sleep downstairs tonight,” he murmured, before turning and making a swift exit from the room.

Waking up to a call from Teal at 2am didn’t really phase Levi at all, it’d happened often enough before and he probably should’ve expected it since it was a Saturday. Tugging a hoodie and shoes on, he took a moment to sort out his sleepy state before heading out of his room and out the house to his car as quietly as possible. He followed the vague directions that the other male had given him and was surprised to find him waiting outside the house for him already, seemingly sober. He waited until Teal was comfortably seated inside the vehicle before he started the engine up again, unsure how to break the silence. Things always felt different when Teal was sober and it was weird for Levi. Sighing, he glanced towards the other male out of the corner of his eye before focusing properly on the road. “Do you want me to take you home?” He asked, after a far too long silence. Being responded to with a shake of the head had Levi beginning the journey back to his house, not sure where else to go. 10 minutes later they were both sat inside his room and the prolonged silence was beginning to get to him. “What’s wrong?” While watching Teal seemingly contemplating whether or not to tell Levi, he kicked off his shoes and sat back against the headboard of his bed. That’s when the other male told him everything. Levi blanked out most of the conversation, it was about his girlfriend, though he did his best to nod where appropriate and give encouraging smiles. Once Teal stopped rambling on, Levi raised an eyebrow and laughed. “Feeling better now, hm?” He asked, a faint smile on his face now. Not waiting for another response, he yawned and shifted to lie on his bed. “Don’t get me wrong, you’re great but I’m tired and you’ve already taken up like an hour of my sleep. You can take my car if you want to go home, or whatever,” he murmured sleepily. A few moments later the weight on the bed was gone and Levi assumed Teal would be gone too, so he was slightly startled when the light was turned off and the weight returned to the bed. A faint smile made it’s way to his face and he was glad that he wasn’t facing the other male, even though the darkness probably would’ve prevented him from noticing. “Goodnight, Teal.”
