Zach had just recently gotten out of bed rest, when he decided to sneak off to the casino. Why would he go back to the place that had him stuck in bed for a week? Well, it was because the man who had inflicted such a injury on him gave him a apology gift in the form of candy. This confused the boy. Why would the boss of the casino apologize to him? It confused him to no end.
However, Zach never was able to downright ask King Dice why he had given him something. So, he lurked around the casino trying to keep out of sight from the man in charge as well as his sister. The young thief’s chest still burned if he moved around to much making him take extra care in how he moved. This particular night was rather crowded, making the boy uncomfortable around all the taller people. However, he made sure to keep his hood down, resisting his nervous habit, as he wanted to find the man tonight. He finally had the courage too ask King Dice and wouldn’t let himself back out of it this time.
