THE BIG EASY RP WEEK 2016 [day four] ↳ developed ship of yours → matline (with ashely)

this is definitely the obvious choice and ashely might kill me for the chosen quote up there because i haven’t written that post yet but it’s coming, when its not 4am. i took maddie’s wanted ad and truly didn’t know what to expect because i’ve never done a ‘slow burn’ ship before but my god i was not disappointed. i would have loved to have been around for when they first crossed paths at the bombing aftermath.  but it wasn’t necessary to get these two moving, slowly, in the right direction. these two have both been burned by love before and have over come other obstacles in their past that make it difficult for them to be open minded to finding someone to share their life with.  they spent so many months just becoming good friends and getting comfortable with one another to the point where they finally shared some pretty sensitive information about themselves and that thread was prob one of the most emotional things i’ve ever written but it was so good for them.  it made them stronger and after trying to ignore developing feelings to keep hold of the friendship matt finally asked her out on a date. to which he surprised her by taking her to a second chance prom since she didn’t get to go to hers.  i’m just so damn happy these two have gotten to this point because they both deserve to be happy and to be loved. i’m so proud of these two.

zonatello (zoe & donny) get a shout out though, finding each other completely accidentally after not seeing or talking to one another for a few years and they’re making pretty damn good progress.

THE BIG EASY RP WEEK 2016 [day two] ↳ most developed character of yours

Mathieu Vincent D’Entremont

first i’d like to point out that shirtless brett dalton with a puppy has nothing to do with matty’s development i just wanted to use the gifs, though they may capture matty’s adorableness.

matty has been a lot of firsts for me, my first wanted ad, first character that is an actual cinnamon roll and i’m so glad that ashley pointed me to her wanted ad and tbe. matty being the legit good guy is a bit of a challenge for me i’ve created a character before that is void of any self serving tendencies and i’m pretty proud of the fact that writing him has gotten so much easier in the last like five months, i don’t have to think so much about what he’s going to do/say. i’ve never been on a site that long before, they’ve died off so this whole character development thing is new to me i’ve learned a lot about matty, that his hardships in his past have really shaped who he is and how he carries himself as a person and how he treats others.  he’s one of the characters that there are plans to make him pretty damn happy with his future, which is kind of a big step since he was ready to write off dating.  i usually like to put my favs through hell but i’m giving matty a pass on that.
