14 (Fluff)- “I love you and all but…” for Jesse:
Everyone has abandoned the kitchen, I mean having more than five people in one kitchen can get kinda suffocating and Freddie was starting to get grumpy as per usual, but Jesse stayed to help you with baking the muffins.
Not that you're complaining or anything...
"Are they done yet?" Okay even you have to admit that "help" might be an exaggeration, they've been asking you whether the muffins have finished baking for the past ten minutes, and every time your answer is still the same.
"Not yet" You sigh with an amused expression on your face, Jesse can be really annoying sometimes if they tried and right now they're really trying, they pout and cross their arms "But I'm really craving those muffins..."
You step closer to them with a wide grin and loop your arms around their small waist "And you're gonna get some once they're done," the pout hasn't left their lips but you can tell they're fighting a smile that threatens to show due to your very close proximity, only making you want to tease them even more.
"Jesse, I love you and all but..." You put on a serious expression and you can see their expression falter in response as they wait for you to continue the sentence "If you ask if the muffins are done one more time, I won't give you any"
Relief floods their face, then they smack you arm, all the while still in your embrace "You're an asshole you know that," you hum in response "And you love that about me"
Jesse caresses your face gently with their hands and gives you a very light and swift kiss, smiling the whole time as they gaze deep into your eyes "That I do"
14 (Angst)-“You’re choosing (her/him/them) over me?” for Jesse:
(This was in the angst part but honestly for this I felt like it's more general/something Jesse would say jokingly than angst so yeah :3)
Two mistakes,
One: Leaving Jesse unsupervised during a drinking game.
Two: Offering to drive back a drunk Jesse with Freddie who looks like they're gonna throw said drunk Jesse out of the car.
"I can't believe you did this," You mumble with a tired smile as you glance back at Jesse who's sprawled on the backseat, you can see shit-eating grin on their face despite the dim light of Freddie's car "And I can't believe you're this cute...", you chuckle at their drunk flirting and turn back to look at your other companion.
"Last time I'm leaving you unsupervised when you're at a bar, you know, I wouldn't have even came at first if Allie didn't call me," Freddie keeps their eyes on the road but you can see a little hint of amusement in their expression which is a very rare sighting.
"Blah blah blah, you're acting like a boring parent Fred-Bear," Jesse pouts just like a child, Freddie tries to glare at the nickname they've been given but they fail as even they couldn't stay mad at their obviously too drunk friend, instead they look at you for a second with a tired expression "Can you knock some sense into them?"
Your eyes shift from Freddie to Jesse who's still grinning like a child, "Honestly Jess, they're kinda right, you drank way too much today". Jesse's jaw drops, the grin fading from their face as it's now their turn to glare at you "You're choosing them over me?!"
"What's that supposed to mean?" Freddie raises an eyebrow, obviously amused and not hiding that fact now, Jesse shrugs "You're perfectly fine Fred-Bear, but me and them, we've been friends for years and we're dating for god's sake!"
You chuckle and shake your head "Which means I need to look out for you Jess", Jesse mumbles something under their breath, obviously starting to get tired and right before they fall asleep they mumble something again, this time louder "You're so glad that you're cute and that I love you..."
You smile at their words "Whatever you say, love you too dumbass," and when you turn back you see them smiling, obviously thinking about what you said as they close their eyes.
"That's cute and all," You can practically fell Freddie trying to fight the urge to tease you about all of that "But you're carrying them to bed"

14 (General)- “What happened to us?” for Jesse:
Now for this one...I'd have to not answer it because...it might happen in game...SPOILERS MAUAHAHAHAH >:)

Freddie would want to give up, like truly, but they wouldn’t be able to not rewatch Shrek for the 100th time, not that they would admit they watched it once of course, but they would just shut down while writing the essay because watching it all day is enough tomfoolery for one day, probably for one year.

Jesse: Being friends for years means that this happened more times than you can count, usually it’s the other way around since Jesse is a sleepy head and can take a nap pretty much anywhere but this time it’s different, they know they’ve been feeling something more, wanting something more and you being this close to them, how can they not smile and lean their head on yours, eyelids closing slowly as they breathe in your familiar scent.
Allie: Thank god not a lot of people are around to see the, in their opinion, embarrassingly flustered expression that falls on their face. They know you’ve been working hard recently and want you to feel as comfortable as possible so they shift a little bit, making sure not to wake you up in the process, it’s all too silly really, the feeing they get when you smile, the way your voice is engraved in their memory, how the hell are they gonna decipher all these emotions?
Freddie: Seriously? They grumble when your head falls on their shoulder, it’s not because they don’t like it, they just don’t like those silly thoughts that invade their mind whenever you’re around, or that’s what they tell themselves, truth be told they think it’s nice having you around, and for the first time they want to let someone in, they just don’t know how but trying not to wake you up seems like a good start.
Alex: They smile at your sleepy form despite themselves when your head meets their shoulder, they like having you in the team, you’re a very good friend to have in their opinion but that’s not all, they like you, they can’t deny it anymore, not that they want to either way, they just want to find the right words to tell you.

Jesse: “Definitely”: Jesse has debated this before and has their answer prepared, now here’s the thing, if water isn’t wet, how does it make things wet? Like take for example glue right? It’s sticky and makes things sticky, if it isn’t sticky then it wouldn’t make things sticky, take another thing, a lighter for example, a lighter (the flame itself) is hot, and that’s how it melts things right? If it isn’t hot the thing wouldn’t melt in the first place, so like glue > sticky and makes things stick, lighter flame > hot and makes things hot thus melting, water > wet and makes things wet as a result, if a rule works for fire and glue then why shouldn’t it work for water you know, like it’s logical you know.
Allie: “I mean…no?”: At first Allie would question if you’re okay, if you slept well and if you had way too much coffee. again. (but like they're a hypocrite in that department lmao). Okay so, one: physics you know, and two: they believe that water by itself isn’t wet because like, if you get a cup of water, the cup is wet, if you spill it on the table now the table is wet, but water, the material that makes things wet isn’t wet by itself.
Freddie: Gonna deadpan for a couple of seconds before sighing and begrudgingly giving their two cents about this, okay so, if we do say water is wet (which imo it is but alright 😌) then you put it in a cup right? The cup is half filled, then you add more water, does that makes the water that was already in the cup more wet, or does it just increase the volume of water without changing the state of water.
Alex: Would honestly crack up, until they realize…you weren’t joking, prompting them to silently question your sanity, anyhow with them this would take a Ship Of Theseus turn, kinda similar to Freddie’s in a way: okay so let’s say you have a half filled cup of water again, and you add a drop of water, does that make water more wet then? okay so let’s say instead of one drop you make em four? or fifteen? or a hundred? Point is: at which point does water become an object that could be considered “wet” rather than an object that makes thing wet, at which point is ‘this many drops of water’ enough to turn water from a “material” to something that could be affected by other external factor, in this case itself and/or other water drops.

You're both sitting at the café close to the station, officer Henrik dropped off two piles of paperwork for you and Jesse earlier, and you've both teamed up to try and make things go faster.
You're not sure if it's working or not but it's nice to have some company, especially if it's Jesse's, also you have two mugs of coffee so that's a plus.
"And of course captain Javier is going to give us a lecture about work ethic and..." You trail off when you notice that Jesse has a coffee moustache, you try your hardest not to laugh.
Well try is the keyword, you burst out laughing at the sight, and even more when Jesse gives you a confused look "What?"
Your laugher resolves into a wide grin as you reach out and wipe the coffee from their face "You had a nice coffee moustache in my opinion, thought I'd wipe it off before anyone sees it tho"
You can see their face turning red from embarrassment, but not from this incident, it happened many times throughout your friendship, it's from the fact that you hand is still on their face.
You brush your finger on their soft cheek, not able to break eye contact, and lean in ever so slightly, already feeling their breath on your own lips.
"Hey, can I get you anything-" The waitress stops awkwardly, rubbing the back of her neck "I'm so sorry". You smile and glance back at Jesse "Nah, it's fine,"
Jesse leans back when the waitress leaves abruptly and pick their pen up again "We have to finish working on this but...to be continued?"
