 character a and character b both go camping with their families, having no idea who the other person was at the time. One day, they meet while both exploring through the woods, they slowly start to get along and walk down to the lake and sit by its side, it slowly starts to rain and they laugh while running back to one of their cabins. They get there and both dry off, deciding to spend the rest of the day together because they enjoyed their company. After around a month of hanging out with each other, they went down to the place where they had met in the woods, the sun was peering through the leaves though it had soon started to softly rain. not a thunderstorm, just a drizzle. but enough to make them soak. They start laughing again and character b just admires character a's laugh for a moment before they take their cheeks in their hands, planting a small kiss on their lips. it only lasted around five seconds, but for the two of them, it felt like a lifetime.

The Knowledgeable Dancer

a crew from guild sunburst comes across a spunky and intelligent young dancer in the Forgotten Capital.

“careful, guys!”

“bind it’s arms!”

“go for it, go for it!”

“tash, watch out!”

“GOTCHA!”

The group of Mayura, kyouko, cynthia, tash, and Andrew defeated the monsters they were up against in the forgotten capital. After collecting the materials the group continued on. as they kyouko would suddenly cling onto tash, toughly.

“WAIT!”

“what is it?” asked tash, blinking at his sister.

“shhh!”

The group was quiet, and then understood. In the distance was the distant chiming of a tambourine.

“someone’s nearby…” said Andrew, knitting his eyebrows together.

“come on!” said kyouko happily, leading the way.

“kyouko, wait!” called tash, chasing after the dark-haired dancer

The group followed closely, and they soon came upon the source of the sounds. Deep within the capital was a pink haired dancer with pigtails, playing on the tambourine they had heard.

“so you’re who we were hearing!” said mayura.

“oh! I didn’t know there were other adventurers here!” said the dancer, stopping to converse with the guild.

“I’m Mayura, this is Andrew, there’s Cynthia, and these two are tash and kyouko.” Said the guild leader, indicating her friends in turn

“nice to meet you! I’m celia, dancer extradordinare!” she introduced herself, giving a twirl and a mock bow.

“you’re a dancer too? That’s great! I’m a dancer!” cheered kyouko.

“bestie!” cheered celia back happily “mind if I stick with you guys?”

“sure.” Said mayura, nodding and giving a smile. The group began their trip back, kyouko and celia in the back, talking and giggling.

“uh oh. You’ve got a tag team of trouble.” Mayura said to tash, grinning.

“don’t worry, I’ve got ways of keeping her in line.” Chuckled tash.

“taaaaaaaaaaaaash!” kyouko called, the two dancers running up and hugging him. “buy us ice cream when we get back!”

“why can’t you buy it yourself?” he asked, raising an eyebrow.

Kyouko’s eyes would widen with a sad expression.

“don’t give me that look.” Warned tash

“but-!”

Tash’s eyes would narrow dangerously as he gave his sister a warning look. She squeaked, backing down.

Celia wasn’t scared though, and squinted back before flicking his forehead.

“ow…” tash grunted, rubbing where he was flicked.

“don’t be rude to your sister!” she said, stamping her foot.

“like I’m going to be scared of a dancer with pigtails.” Grumbled tash.

To that, tash got another flick to the forehead.

“ow! Quit it!”

And another

“seriously st-“

Flick!

“OKAY FINE I’LL BUY YOU ICE CREAM!”

“YAY!” cheered the two dancers, and they raced ahead to the skyship.

“I warned you.” chuckled Mayura

“this place is so cool, isn’t it? who would’ve thought there was an entire city ruin under Yggdrasil?!” asked celia excitedly. “you think the people who lived here were the ones who made Yggdrasil?”

At that, tash paused, blinking. “how did you know Yggdrasil was man-made?” he asked, curious.

“oh, I know a lot of things about Yggdrasil! My dad studied the Yggdrasil core project!”

Tash immidiently ran up, vaulting over the rail of the skyship. “did he now?” he asked, a bright grin on his face.

“I might tell you…. for an extra bowl of ice cream~”

“….you, miss, drive a very hard bargain.”

Later the guild sat in their respective areas, chatting. Celia happily chowed down on a chocolate cake.

“…so. What do you know about Yggdrasil?” tash asked.

She took a bite, chocolate smeared around her lips. “I know it was man-made hundreds of years ago after a cataclysm that left the land and animals poisoned. They couldn’t farm. They couldn’t gather. They couldn’t hunt. So they made Yggdrasil to absorb that poison from the ground. It went berserk though, because it was activated too soon.”

“so we’ve learned.” Said tash, nodding.

“have you guys been to the hall of darkness?”

“yes.”

“I know the order to inject the chemicals in to weaken the insect~”

“what?! what is it?!”

“mmmm.... i’m just sooooooo hungry from journeying the capital today...! my memory is all kinds of foggy~”

“……kirtida! Another cake, please!”
