I'm new at this and idk how many people are going to see this but it's worth a shot

I see pins like this all over pinterest (credits to whomever made it, it's not mine) and I was just wondering if anybody knew of any books that have a good version of the "blood running down my hands" ? It could be like villainous or the MC being distraught or supernatural, etc, I'm open to a lot

Okay I've always wondered how kids just go to adventures and how they always take the most fucking dangerous route to get to their destination. Evil forest, creepy swamp, up the volcano with LITERALLY NO SUPPLIES

Okay so imagine a bunch of these chosen kids are looking for someone to speak to the trees or something like that.

So they go to the family in the woods and convince the youngest in the family that he is the one destined to go with them. So he goes home and tries to run away when the dad finds them . They assemble in the house and when the boy says the lines "It's got to be me" the parents laugh and tell his adventure buddies that if they need someone to go with them to converse with the trees they can take his wife because he's busy. And she can handle herself better in the outside world than he can anyway.

So the mom takes them

She takes enough money and they go through the safe route because

"No! Jeremy. We don't need to cross the forest of pain and swim through the lake of grief. We will be taking a carriage that will take us straight to Mr Death's company"

"It's the river of grief not lake..."

So she would make sure that they are safe, and well fed and not playing with sharp swords even if you are the chosen one. Now go to bed.

And she would notice the crushes within the group and just become a confidante for all of them because let's be honest most of the times the adventures have issues. So she tells them that they didn't do anything wrong. That they are just kids.

All the while she's a badass mom who makes sure none of these kids are hurt. She will make sure the trees will crush you and choke you and even tear through you to keep these kids safe. The cronies Mr whatshisname sent won't even get to see the kids, leave alone harm them. SHE WILL ENSURE THAT NONE OF THESE KIDS EVER SEE ANY OF THIS! NO NEED TO TRAUMATIZE KIDS. However, they get a glimpse of her fighting once and they are all in awe. And beg her to teach them how to fight.

She laughs a little at that and says that her husband will teach them,because she always rushes her students before they are ready.

When the mission is over, they come back home and she literally takes all of them into her family and if that's not the cutest thing I don't know what is.

 character a and character b both go camping with their families, having no idea who the other person was at the time. One day, they meet while both exploring through the woods, they slowly start to get along and walk down to the lake and sit by its side, it slowly starts to rain and they laugh while running back to one of their cabins. They get there and both dry off, deciding to spend the rest of the day together because they enjoyed their company. After around a month of hanging out with each other, they went down to the place where they had met in the woods, the sun was peering through the leaves though it had soon started to softly rain. not a thunderstorm, just a drizzle. but enough to make them soak. They start laughing again and character b just admires character a's laugh for a moment before they take their cheeks in their hands, planting a small kiss on their lips. it only lasted around five seconds, but for the two of them, it felt like a lifetime.
