She groaned in frustration, “I can be quiet.” Sometimes, “I’m just trying to decipher his majesty’s handwriting.” She held up the note that she got by slyphjay from Erston, “I told him that I’d be okay with sending letters to each other but his handwriting is rather...loopy?”

When the Sun rose again above Elympios, Ludger found himself awoken by Lulu’s paws rubbing against his bedroom door, accompanied by incessant meows to come and feed him. “I hear you, kitty… Just give me a second, okay?” Spirits knew why he bothered asking a cat to wait for him, but Lulu seemed to interpret his voice as a sign he’d get food soon and he stopped making noise. 

Ludger rubbed his eyes with a loud yawn to ward his sleepiness away. With all that was going on around him, it wasn’t uncommon for the man to be tired and thus want to sleep in for ridiculous amounts of time. He rarely got to do so thanks to chaperoning an eight year old and an always hungry fluffy lard on legs. Naps were also near impossible because of calls for payment or some new Fractured Dimension spawning for him to take care of. He lived a busy life in short. 

Checking the clock on his bed frame, he’d gotten about seven hours of sleep. A modest amount, no real complaints there. But when he checked behind him, he noticed a large lump resting next to him. It couldn’t be Elle (she was staying with Jude for the night) or his big brother, so who could it be…? 

Very gently pulling up the blankets, Ludger tried to get a peek of his mystery roommate. The second he lifted enough of the covers to catch a glimpse of their face, a pair of green eyes shot open, staring straight at him!

“Bwah!” Ludger jumped too far back, slipping off the edge of his bed and hitting the floor with a huge ‘thump!’ Luckily(?), before he fell off the bed, he managed to decipher his sleeping companion for the night had been Leia. “Wh-When– How– W-Why are you…?!”

Oh. Right. Leia had stayed the night after he gave her baking lessons since it got really late. 

But didn’t she insist she take the couch because he looked so tired? Did Leia change her mind and not have the heart to kick him out? Wasn’t she the slightest bit bothered by sharing a bed with a boy she didn’t know too well? So many questions, he didn’t know where to start.

“I-I um… I’m going to make breakfast! You just… do something till then! Okay? Okay!” Ludger skittered out of the room before he fainted from the blood rushing to his head.

Heheheh indeed, I’m glad I was able to make the drive. And yes, feeling much better~ Try not to get into too much trouble without me there to encourage said behavior.
