One of the hardest parts of writing is deciding on how old to make your characters. I'm half tempted to just write two stories with the same characters one they're Yong adults the other they're kids.

So me and my friend is trying to figure out Rajs age but we realized that the numbers doesn’t add up. (all of the information found above is from the mangas). Anyone who has some more information??

For no reason I just started to calculate their ages lmao

Ursa was 21 when she was taken to the Capital to marry Ozai. She had Zuko in that same year since Ozai told her that he had spies tracking her before they were married so he knew that Ursa and Ikem had never done anything. So Ursa’s age in The Search, 18 years after her marriage, should’ve been either 39 or 40.

Ozai looked older than Ikem when they first met so I’m guessing his age is just a few years older than Ursa’s. I’m guessing Ikem’s search of The Mother of Faces took about a year or two from his facial hair growth and how thinner his face had become since also he and Ursa found The Mother of Faces in less than a year.

So Ozai’s age was probably around 45 by the end of the show... then again, men’s hair usually start greying by their 40s, especially Asians... but Ozai’s hair is still flawlessly black lmao wtf it’s either this man just has ridiculously good genes or he’s younger than he appears.

I would have to say over 800 at least. This is the impression I get from certain episodes. I think in some interviews from season 1 when changes were being made it was implied that they aging up the characters because the ages and timeline in the books doesn't match up or make sense to the character actions. In tv cannon I would guess Alec is 24 or 25 since he is the oldest. I would guess even 23 maybe but he doesn't act his age because he was raised to be a soldier and had to grow up fast.

I see they doubled Magnus’s age. Is that why Harry had to grow a beard for season 2? I read on Supernatural Wiki that Magnus stopped aging when he was 19 years old, and if Harry shaved his beard like he did in season 1, he did look 19 to me. I guess they have a different “mortal appearance” age for Magnus in the show as well.
