Writing updates
Has it seriously been nine months since I last updated Captain Tantrum?? Holy shit, I am so sorry guys!
Well, I have good news for anyone following that story: I’ve started writing on it again. A thing happened in the story that I wasn’t really expecting and readers commented about a certain possible outcome that I told myself would not happen. I was firm on this. My outline had no room for this thing to happen.
You know that feel when your characters take a long look at your outline before deciding to rip the damn thing to shreds? This is what happened. We fought. I pleaded. I begged. I tried to write it my way regardless of their objections.
They win. I’m writing on it again and chapter 19 is going well. I’m hoping to have it done by the weekend.
As for Filling the Void, Chapter 20 is coming along nicely. Having sudden and overwhelming inspiration for another story has made writing on this a little slower, but it’s still progressing.
If I can manage to juggle two vastly different interpretations of Edge and Red, then maybe I can have a new chapter of both stories out this weekend :)
