Working with Scotland's most prolific artists and composers as a session singer, Sarah-Beth moved into acting, creating and performing her own work with colleague Tom Moriarty at Box Rev. She has worked and performed with the Tron Theatre Glasgow, Citizens Theatre, Theatre Royal, BBC Radio Scotland, BBC Scotland and STV. Sarah-Beth is a pro-active performer as well as a creative coach. Good afternoon from all at Character Lab 🤗 Both Leigh and Kirsty have been busy bees locking in more guest coaches for this currant semester and are very excited with our line up to come . This month’s lab which I’ll post the event up shorty on Facebook , we will have a new twist , as discussed with you all at the launch As you know the night consists of three parts -Workshop(performers who have booked a slot ) -Jam (using characters established from Jam) -Performance (mini narrated guided performances making character stories come to life ) This month as it’s now month 2 , we get more exciting we are opening up the Jam section to include all creative performance work, so if you have a character monologue , or mini sketch or skit prepared or your a writer , director and have a small excerpt and want to perform it yourself or with an actor or performer you like the character off , then we are opening up the Jam to everyone attending. We just need to know in advance each month so we can slot everything in , on the hour we have for the Jam as the workshop performers also need to have their time slots so only a few per month we can accept to make it fair . Just message Character Lab directly on Facebook and we can arrange. This month we will carry on the character work with new character led games at the workshop , hosted by Kirsty. Then the new arrangement of the exciting jam section followed on by the performances again which we all loved from Last one . Again we will post up for performers to apply the day before . You can apply even if you’ve already performed before as we are only in the beginning of our semester and we can utilise as many characters as we can .
