It’s crazy the GQux creators invented a new word “MAV” to describe both the military team up and relationship between Char and Challia and in universe it has become a colloquial word for partner/friend/lover five years since it was coined.

I already parodied it once, but then the more i thought about it, the more it amused me and then this happened. Go read the original, it's cute GL.

I still haven't seen like 2/3 of the stuff GQuuuuuuX ep2 was remaking or remixing, but

setting aside the fact that its usage of music and sound effects managed to make me nostalgic for a show I'd started watching six days previously and am still watching, my biggest takeaway was "You know Gene? That one Zaku pilot who started blowing up everything in sight whilst on a recon mission with the justification that it's the kind of thing Char Aznable would do, then promptly ate shit when he went up against Amuro Getting In The Gundam For The First Time? He was completely right. That is exactly what Char would have done if he was in Gene's shoes. It's just that Char would have stolen the Gundam, kicked ass and taken names, and then proceeded to win the One Year War. Also with Amuro not in the picture, Challia Bull of all people is the guy Char would've gay thirsted for, and it would've been much healthier than everything I've heard about his dynamic with Amuro" (I don't know why Challia Bull is an "of all people" in that context, that's just my gut, I'm like only 60% confident in this assessment).

Sorry but this is so funny because they’re taking advantage of Char and Challia’s popularity and their ship’s fanbase to sell ridiculous collaboration Gundam merch like this. In - universe, this must be one of Zeon’s efforts to rebuild their economy under Sayla’s rule.

The rainbow colored food is like the cherry on top of the Char x Challia merch Gundam is peddling out to the fans.

Char’s Shirouzu disguise suit is green but not quite the same shade as Challia’s uniform. While Challia wears red socks and a yellow necktie just like how Char has a special red Zeon uniform with a black and golden cape.

I want to find and read the Animedia article featuring an interview with Char and Challia’s voice actors who talked about how they were directed to adjust their voice for their characters to fit their personality and described the relationship of their characters as being a ray of light to each other. That particular line caused an influx of chacha/charchalli fan arts depicting them with each other’s signature color as the light in the dark.
