Spring Feathursday Finery

Well, it looks like spring has finally come home to roost here in the Upper Midwest (fingers crossed), and all our avian friends are out in their finest attire, dancing and singing and just being on general display, such as this exuberant Dodo out for a stroll, this chortling Swift, and these lovely dancing dainties from the 1864 Album des Bêtes à l'usage des gens d'esprit texte, with caricatures by Jean-Jacques Grandville and captions by Aurélien Scholl and Charles Joliet.
