Noctis in my AU
Has seperation anxiety with his boys. Is always scared something will taken him away from them. (Gee... i wonder why)
Figured out how to use a bouncey ball to warp around corners. He can get straight from his bed into the kitchen. (Ignis is not amused)
Entered a relationship with both Ignis and Gladio at the start of his highschool years. Despite same-sex couples and poly relationships being a big no-no in Insomnia.
Was more active in Lucian politics and refused to lead the 'normal life' that Regis gave him in the cannon events. Noctis has been speaking in the council chambers since he was 11 or 12. A lot of the council members hate this because Noctis does not let them get away with stuff that Regis has not had the energy to address for some time now. They say he 'acts too much as a King before becoming one'. Noctis sees this as a them problem. Not a him problem.
Exercises 'Neutral Jing.' Prefering to wait, and listen before acting. He wants all the information, before he makes a decision. This is how Lucian Kings have been ruling for the last few generations. And why Drautos stages his rebellion. because Drautos sees the Lucian kings as too passive.
One of his major conditions of trust is if or if not someone like Ignis' cooking.
Swore an oath before the time skip to eat any and all food- even beans/vegtables- so long as he got to see his friends again. After the time reset, despite losing his memory of that oath, made good on this effort. He still hates them but refuses to complain.
Spent 2 years at the end of the world living with Ardyn. Most of it was spent with Noctis trying to get Ardyn to stop being depressed. Then the other half was Ardyn doing the same for Noctis. When one of them gets depressed, the other finds that as motivation to keep pushing on.
Tried to solve the world ending darkness with fused together magic flasks that acted like fire works. Got a lecture on rocket science from Ardyn.
Noted that when he concentrates power for large spells with lots of magic, he starts to float. Trained this discovery into being able to fly. Now often forgets gravity exists, and Ignis often compares him to a fairy now.
After coming out of the crystal was able to effortlessly summon pure light. (He could before the crystal but it took a lot of energy) He started making himself glow in WOR so he had a better light source. Kept it up for 2 years and now Noctis has to untrain himself to *not* be glowing radiant light all the time. (Ardyn nick-named him 'night light'. He hates it.)
Noctis has a lot of magical power at his disposal. But is often frustrated that he can not *do more* with it. Most of what he was trained to use magic for is combat. So he naturally translates magic into attacks or defensive strategy. However he wishes he could do more practical things. Like fix objects, or heal people. He knows he just lacks the imagination; and that is not exactly something which is easy to learn for him. Unfortunatley.
When he gets upset the weather/elements start to react around him. Once when he was young, he got a cold and the entire Citadel froze over.
finds himself increasingly jealous when Prompto endears himself to other characters. (This startes when Loqi introduced himself as Prompto's friend.) Noctis knows this is not healthy- but he is scared of Prompto and him drifting apart. Now that Prompto is the Niflheim Prince and has his own things going on.
