Todays little blanket is one I have finished off for a friend for a cat charity. My friend knitted some squares and gave them to me to sew up and put a border on. A #wip charity blanket. The crochet club I belong to is making blankets for a children's paliative care ward and I was given the crochet squares in the second pic to see what I could do with them. Well after a little tweaking I have joined them together and have a base now for me to extend to the required single bed size. #366days day 144, This is what I have been doing for charity during lockdown. This is a crocheted blanket for palliative care. I belong to a local charity crochet group and we were given the 4" 'African flower' hexagons in the centres of the squares you see here. I have just extended them to make it into a 1metre square. #366days day 114, I belong to a charity crochet group and even though we can't meet I have still set aside my Tuesday evenings to work on items for our usual charity groups. These charity groups will need us even more after lockdown because they are being overlooked with the current situation we are all in. These scarves will eventually be going to The Mission for Seafarers who provide help for Seafarers of all Nations who need it. #366days day 34, another C2C crochet dog blanket for charity. It is square in real life but the angle of the photo makes it look a bit wonky. It is made from two strands of yarn to give it a chunky feel and the colours are made up of scraps of yarn joined together to form a variegated yarn added to balls of leftover black yarn.
