Jasper held the lemon in his paws as Shandra looked on, trying hard not to laugh.

"Go on, try it!" She encouraged. Jasper cautiously took a bite, not knowing why his sister wanted him to try this new fruit.

Realisation hit him as a sour taste flooded his mouth. He threw the lemon away, as he scrunched up his face.

Shandra burst out laughing, finding her brothers face humorous.

Boadicea likes to chew on things she appreciates, and Val is....well actually she's always a little angry, but more so these days with another fire type around thats not docile old Bob (Toarkoal) I do enjoy a dragon type around, I must admit its been a while since I've been lucky enough to bond to one just as well.

Your new girl is gorgeous! Have you done research into her typing? As a crossbreed of two dual-type pokemon, it must be fairly interesting!

Shes less fire-minded than her mother, or any other charizard ive handled before, even Professor Grey, who has like 5 pure breed charizards finds her a bit lacking in the fire department. We train as fliers, she's agile as all hell, and somehow sneaks up on us. Has recently perfected Dragon Breath, so theres that. She favours flying attacks, rapid successions of lighter moves, not one big strong hit. Maybe with some work she'll get a bit more heavy in the attack department.

We've set her as a Flying dragon type for now. Not fire, seeing as her traits aren't all that clear yet, but she does produce a flame, even if it's an odd colour, it burns hot, she just prefers not to use it. Never learnt ember as a hatchling, a notable point. only as a Charmeleon was she able to use fire moves. Maybe have been pure dragon at the start, then fire/dragon, she was spitting flames at 2nd evo happily, and now we're calling her a flying/dragon type. I do wonder if she would mega evolve like normal charizards, I doubt it with her hybrid nature.

It may just be her nature to not favour the fire, some pokemon just be like that, but were hoping to learn more and more as she grows.

Shandra glanced around suspiciously. When she was sure she was alone, she carefully booped Jaspers nose. Jasper giggled, as Shandra smiled proudly to herself. Little did she know, was that Mew witnessed and recorded the whole thing, even holding a sign saying "she filed her claws all day for this"

Wouldn't Yveltal be good for Lysandre and Xerneas for Sycamore?

I was debating on having Lysandre as Yveltal ever since it was brought up. I’ve been loving the idea of having that hybrid form resemble that of a harpy or sorta like a garuda.  

Although I can see your point about Sycamore being Xerneas, I however don’t see any really interesting design possibilities if I went with that. I think I might stick with Charizard for the fact that he owns one, and also Charizard is one of the super leet special ones that got 2 mega forms. 

And for Crazed-Gryphon; I was originally contemplating the Pyroar since well, that hair of his. However much like with the Xerneas thing, I sadly don’t see any real design possibilities. HOWEVER; since Lysandre is gonna be the last hybrid to be made (yes all the hybrids are artificially made due to outside circumstances) I can see Lysandre attempting to do something like that (ie dressing as a Pyroar) to help Sycamore feel a bit better with his new form. 

Granted it’s going to piss Sycamore off since he’ll see it more as an insult than a means of helping him adjust.
