So, is your OC 348 a reincarnated version of the Robo-Ky Mk. II that Robo-Ky befriended and inspired to make a tangerine orchard, or do they have a different origin entirely?

Yes to the reincarnation part. There’s a belief that if something is held in a memory-then it’s able to have a soul.

It’s how 348 was able to be reincarnated into what he is now but with no recollection of who he was before. Only up until he meets Robo-Ky does he begin to remember

I’ve had him for about two days and have done all this-and another page I’m working on.

Also had to draw the dads since it’s been way too long since I drew either of them too.

Nothing like watching 5+ hours of Mortal Kombat tier list/iceberg/analysis videos to have me dip my toes into it real quick.

While I do wanna redraw Chris and Zachariah, my brain wouldn’t let go of the idea of them adopting a son.

I still need to think of a name for him but i already adore him. Sweet lil boy who’s never done anything wrong-and also naturally produces an antivenom that’s effective against most toxins.

I’m imagining the three living on a farm and he’s thriving.

At first not trusting humans or any Earthrealm beings but warms up with the power of doggos.

Sorry it’s been a hot minute-at my place of employment just had their biggest event of the summer…which has me working overnight during the weekend.

Here’s an WIP OC Dump-

First is Red Devil. He’s the youngest but also has been part of the antagonist group the longest (he died at a young age and has been in this form for so long that he doesn’t remember what humans can and cannot do.

He also is the reason Bedman is revived in my AU. He also considers Bedman his rival and considers him to be very special to him.

Next up is Knight. He’s not as loyal to the “master” of the antagonist group, seemingly having his own agenda to uphold.

He also seem to know more about what’s going on than others realize.

He’s the one that plants the idea for Red to find his own rival-not letting the contract Red made be completed.

He pushes 348 into investigating his own past to figure out who he was before all this. Resulting in his reunion with Robo-Ky.

He also seem to have more respect from “higher rank pieces” than he should (348 and Selkie being two examples.)

Last is a splash page that I just wanted to do cause I wanted to play with my alcohol markers again.

Although Knight will lend his ear, he’s not above pointing out the obvious.

In fact it’s almost a pastime for him, hence the final bit with 348.

Venom: Shut up I know that!

The finished comics! There is a Venom follow up for the second one but it’s still being worked on.

So enjoy some Robros shenanigans.

I like to think where Robo Ky is a bit more focused on details, 348 tends to see the bigger picture sometimes.

Also this is just for giggles-the idea of them getting together like that seems to work. While yes Venom is stated to have some anxiety (as per Xrd)-I don’t think he’s a fumbling shy mess to a potential partner.

Also excitable strong metal partner doesn’t know his own strength would definitely leave bruises.

Also-also, 348 has no qualms calling out RK for being dumb about things. (And I think it’s a cute idea they work on the tangerine experiments whenever they talk together.)

Making the executive decision that when I draw Robo Ky he’s getting two cowlicks to look like the beetle horns. That and he and 348 can match somewhat

Here’s a few more OCs for this whole AU

Selkie (the chancellor) and Bishop are two more who eventually join Knight’s side of the conflict. Selkie has been on his side for a while and acts as a mole for him.

While Bishop only really joins after getting betrayed

And of course we have Empress-she never reveals what her desire in her contract is. She also has a deep seated hatred for 348. At first she didn’t know why but as it’s slowly revealed to what/who he was she understands why.

I completely forgot these two I did during the 4th (need I remind you-17 pages in the sketchbook in a matter of 7 days!)

Some Knight and Red team up with Robo Ky and Venom.

I like to think-thanks to Xrd-RK has a slight soft spot for kid’s safety and even though Red is an older teen he’s just super innocent and naive and thus worries about him.

And I will hold onto the the small note of how RK is protective of Venom until I die.

Next we have Red following Knight’s instructions on what to do if anything happens to him (this being post card game with Daryl where Knight possesses him-long story) and heads to the bakery to “lay low”.
