          it was the SECOND DAY of their road trip ; on their way looking for mutants, like them. after using cerebro, they were able to LOCATE quite a few mutants. charles was unsure of how far they were willing to go, so they stayed in new york for the time being------------though they were MILES away from westchester. they barely just checked in to their hotel and charles folded his arms across his chest as he sat on one of the beds, blue orbs watching as erik passed him to the other bed. it was probably well passed midnight when they arrived and charles K N E W they were both exhausted, but charles found himself too wound up and turned to erik instead of laying back and getting some much needed rest. “ so, erik... ” he’s WATCHING the metakinetic carefully, obviously taking each word by stride. “ i know you’re probably tired, but... we haven’t eaten since noon------and i don’t know about you, but i’m starved. ” charles knew erik had wanted to get their as soon as they could, and charles didn’t BLAME him, but his stomach was not happy. “ so before you go to sleep, i think we should go get something to eat----and we can’t order room service because it’s so late. ” there’s possibly a HINT of a whine behind the telepath’s tone. possibly.
