Nick and Charlie's Heartstopper Journey | Netflix
J’ai acheté le même T-shirt que Nick Nelson dans la série Heartstopper. Ce n’est pas une imitation, mais une petite source d’inspiration pour me rappeler chaque jour que le plus important, c’est l’amour, la sincérité et la simplicité.
I bought the same T-shirt as Nick Nelson wears in Heartstopper. It’s not about imitation, but about having a little reminder close to me every day that what truly matters is love, sincerity, and simplicity.
I DID IT
I got my mom hooked on Heartstopper
Actual text she sent me:
we win these
Ben for Charlie (Heartstoppers)
Would Ben Hope use the one wish willow on Charlie Spring?
Yes, knowingly
Yes, but they regret the consequences
No, they know the consequences
No, but they don’t know what the wish would do
And new bts photos from Alice.
Sometimes I don't know where Kit and Joe end and Nick & Charlie begin
Heartstopper AU: Year 7 student Alfie causes total chaos when he mistakes Truham-Higgs’s Grammar rugby captain, Nick Nelson, for Hollywood actor Kit Connor, what follows is a hectic school day of Nick dodging screaming crowds of pre-teens, hiding out in cramped art cupboards, and relying on his friends for dramatic "rescues." Just when teachers finally put an end to the madness, the actual Kit Connor goes viral roasting Nick online. Nick might be the internet's newest meme, but to Charlie, he's still the only star that matters.
It started at morning registration when Year 7 student Alfie cornered Nick Nelson in the corridor, staring up with wide, starstruck eyes.
"Um… excuse me?" Alfie said quietly. His voice shook so much he dropped his backpack. "Are you… are you him? Are you Kit Connor?"
Nick blinked, holding his rugby ball. "Uh, no, mate. I’m Nick. I’m in Year 13."
"Oh. Right. Of course," Alfie said, nodding as if he understood perfectly. His wide, starstruck eyes gave him away, though.
He shyly held out his phone. "Can I… can we take a selfie for TikTok? The Heartstopper fans are going to lose their minds."
“Alfie, we literally met two days ago at Truham’s Pride Club,” Nick said gently. “I’m just a rugby captain.”
But Alfie had already snapped a blurry photo. “That is exactly what a secret Hollywood star would say to throw people off!” he yelled over his shoulder, sprinting down the corridor in a blur of excitement.
Skidding to a halt outside his classroom, Alfie stared down at the screen in disbelief. As the reality of the encounter sank in, his eyes widened. “Wait... how did Kit Connor know my name?” he muttered.
---------------------------------------------
By break time, that photo was everywhere in the Truham-Higgs group chats.
Nick burst into the art room, shut the door hard and locked it. Charlie, Tao, Elle, Isaac and Tara all looked up from their drawing.
"Shut the blinds!" Nick gasped, leaning on the door, out of breath. "They’re coming for me."
"Who?" Charlie asked. He walked over and touched his boyfriend’s forehead. "Nick, you’re all sweaty."
"The Year 7s," Nick said, almost whining. "And the Year 8s too. Alfie told everyone Kit Connor’s here doing research for a role. There’s like thirty kids standing outside the gym waiting for his autograph."
Tao burst out laughing and banged the table. "I knew it! Look at your face! That whole sweet, golden retriever vibe! Go on, Nick—talk in your fancy British accent!"
"I do have a British accent, Tao!" Nick cried.
"Guys, it’s getting worse," Elle said, looking at her phone. "Someone just posted on Life360 saying the guy from Rocketman’s in C-block."
"Isaac, help me," Nick begged.
Isaac didn’t even look up from his book. "Can’t. I’m reading a book about what fame does to people. Feels pretty relevant right now."
"Just tell them the truth, Nick," Tara said, smiling. "Go show them your terrible maths grades. That’ll prove you’re not a famous actor."
Before Nick could answer, someone rattled the door handle.
"He’s in here! I can see his ginger hair through the glass!" a high voice called from the hall.
"Go, go, go!" Charlie yelled. He grabbed Nick’s hand, pushed him into the big art cupboard, and covered him with some canvas bags—just as the door opened.
Harry Greene walked in, followed by a dozen excited younger kids. Harry looked around, saw Charlie, and grinned.
"Alright everyone," Harry told the group of Year 7s. "As best friend to the famous Kit Connor, I can tell you he’s hiding around here somewhere. Five pounds each and you can look under the desks."
Inside the dark cupboard, Nick burned with anger. He pushed the door open, knocked over a box of paintbrushes, and stood up—covered in chalk dust from head to toe.
"Harry, what is wrong with you?!" Nick shouted. "You know I’m not Kit Connor! We failed Chemistry together last year, remember?!"
The Year 7s all gasped. Alfie stood at the back, pointed a shaky finger, and said, "Wow. He stays in character so well. He even made up a whole backstory about failing Chemistry!"
"He’s so nice and humble," another kid whispered.
"Five pounds each, line up here!" Harry called out, holding out his hand.
Charlie grabbed Nick’s arm, pulled him out through the fire exit, and ran with him toward the school gates.
---------------------------------------------
The fire door banged shut behind them, cutting off the noise of Harry trying to take money from a bunch of 11-year-olds.
Nick and Charlie ran across the yard and ducked behind some big bins. Seconds later, the bushes shook. Darcy, Imogen and Tao crawled out from the dirt, all looking like they were up to something terrible. Imogen had on huge sunglasses and a bright yellow jacket she’d clearly stolen from the caretaker.
"Get down! Get down!" Imogen whispered, waving them into the bushes.
"We’re handling your PR now, Nick," Darcy said with a big grin. She pulled a crumpled paper crown and a bright pink feather scarf from her bag. "The year 9 girls are keeping watch. But the boys are going wild—especially the rugby team. They want you to sign their boots so they can sell them online."
"Imogen, I’m the rugby team!" Nick cried.
"Not anymore. You’re a brand now," Tao said seriously. He held up a black marker and a bright pink highlighter, looking like some kind of mad scientist. "We need to change how you look. Disguise you."
"With a pink pen?" Charlie asked, raising an eyebrow.
"It messes up the face-recognition on their TikTok apps, Charlie—keep up!" Imogen said. She held Nick’s arms so he couldn’t move.
"Hold him still!" Darcy laughed, and wrapped the feather scarf around Nick’s neck.
"Please, no!" Nick begged.
Tao leaned in, totally focused. He drew a thick, very ugly moustache on Nick’s lip with the black marker. At the same time, Imogen drew bright pink streaks across his cheeks. Then Darcy stuck the paper crown sideways on his head.
"There," Tao said proudly, wiping a tear. "Now you look like a pirate who went to a party. No one will ever know it’s you."
"I look ridiculous," Nick said, his voice cracking.
Just then, a loud voice boomed across the yard through a megaphone.
"ATTENTION EVERYONE. THIS IS MR FAROUK."
They all peeked through the leaves. Mr Farouk stood on a bench, looking very serious and very angry. Mr Ajayi stood beside him, holding a bag full of five-pound notes. Harry Greene stood between them, looking very grumpy.
"THERE IS NO MOVIE STAR AT THIS SCHOOL," Mr Farouk shouted. The megaphone made a loud screech that made everyone wince. "ANYONE TRYING TO SELL AUTOGRAPHS OR SCAM PEOPLE GETS TWO HOURS DETENTION. HARRY GREENE ALREADY HAS THREE."
"But sir!" Alfie called out from the crowd, looking very confused. "He’s in the bushes! I saw his red hair!"
Mr Ajayi stepped forward and took the megaphone, sighing loudly. "Listen, everyone. Nick Nelson is just a normal boy in Year 13. He walks his dog on weekends and cries when he watches baking shows. He is not in any Marvel movies. Now go to class."
The crowd groaned all at once, and slowly walked away, very disappointed.
Nick let out a huge breath and leaned on Charlie’s shoulder. "Thank goodness."
Charlie looked at his face—black moustache, pink cheeks, feather scarf, and crooked crown—and burst out laughing. "Well then, Mr Connor. It’s safe now. But you definitely won’t pass Chemistry looking like that."
---------------------------------------------
"We need to get this off right now," Charlie said, still laughing. He pulled some wet wipes from his bag and started scrubbing Nick’s lip. But the marker just smudged, so now Nick looked like he hadn’t shaved in a week.
"Is it coming off?" Nick asked hopefully.
"Nope. You look like a miner from a hundred years ago," Imogen said, leaning in to look. "A very handsome miner with bright pink cheeks."
When school ended, everyone went to their usual spot at the milkshake shop. Nick sat in the back, hood pulled down over his eyes, hiding behind a giant strawberry milkshake.
Tao suddenly slammed his phone on the table. "Oh, you have got to be kidding me."
"What?!" Nick yelped, covering his face. "Did it go viral again? Are they coming here?"
"Worse," Tao said, and turned the screen around. "The real Kit Connor just posted a video."
Elle, Tara and Darcy all leaned in to watch.
On screen, Kit Connor sat in a bright room, looking right at the camera with a big, amused smile.
"Hey everyone," Kit said, laughing. "So my feed is going crazy today. There’s reports that I’m at Truham-Higgs Grammar, failing Chemistry and hiding in a cupboard from Year 7s. Well—whoever you are with the ginger hair—hang in there. Fame’s hard work." He waved and winked, and the video ended.
Everyone at the table burst out yelling and laughing. Darcy actually fell off her seat, holding her stomach.
"Kit Connor knows I exist," Nick said quietly, staring at the screen, turning bright red. "A real movie star knows I failed Chemistry. And he told the whole country. On video."
"On the bright side," Without looking up from his book, Isaac simply said, "Harry got three weeks’ detention and had to give all that money back."
"And look at the comments!" Elle said, scrolling. "People are calling you ‘The Truham Lookalike’. It already has half a million views!"
Charlie moved closer, wrapped his arms around Nick, and rested his chin on his shoulder. "Don’t worry, Nick. Even if you’re not a famous actor, you’re still my favourite celebrity."
Nick looked at Charlie, and his face softened into that familiar, goofy smile. He kissed Charlie on the cheek.
"Ugh, please—less kissing, more thinking," Tao groaned, waving a straw at them. "We’ve got a real problem here. Nick, pull your hood back up. Your fans might find us."
Nick laughed, and finally pushed his hood back. He decided he didn’t mind being called Kit Connor’s lookalike one bit.
