I don't know if I've ever said this but, we all know Tori made tea for charlie a few times right to comfort him. Well there are two reasons for that even though we know she HATES tea.

One: Michael LOVES tea, we all know that. But that isn't the main reason why.

Two: The main reason why is because in solitaire, she was watching The Big Bang Theory and we know that she watched that quite often, if I am remembering correctly, every day? And as you should know, Sheldon Cooper gives tea to people to comfort them. This appears many times in the show. And as you should know, charlie said tbat tori would be sheldon just less selfish (or something like that).

So, she picked up comforting people with tea from sheldon cooper. Michael just enforced it. Hence why even her tea hating self would make tea for charlie.

(If you don't remember that part of Solitaire where it mentioned The Big Bang Theory, don't worry, I read the book last summer and I still remember basically every small thing no one else remembers and I know literally everything about Tori.)
