idk if i was reading too much into what you meant when you said charles loves being famous but i agree with you and i’ve always been incredibly proud to support a driver who like. very much loves the fanbase and wants to be worthy of their support

idk if this is as much of a thing in f1 ik most of the drivers are open-ish with their fans and definitely like. appreciate the support but ik there are a lot of musicians i’ve been really into in the past who like go out of their way to say they think their fanbase is like ‘weird’ (especially if it’s full of women, they’re like trying to shift demographics) or just really hating on fame beyond just the predatory stuff just like ‘can you guys get jobs and not be obsessed with me’ and there’s a whole conversation to be had about the fact that they’re the victims of some of the most invasive and predatory paparazzi practices and stalking which makes it so valid

but idk it’s just really sweet that charles treats the tifosi as this very real institution (which to be fair we very much are) and is always striving to be worthy of their support and is looking out for us when things go wrong

yes, definitely there's something v cute in the devotion charles shares w the tifosi for the same thing (ferrari) and so. he takes it seriously yk.... he wants to make ppl proud bc he loves the team, and it means a lot to *him* so he knows it might mean as much to other ppl.

i find the position of athletes as celebrities very interesting tbh, bc they love the craft, and the rewards, but have a love/hate relationship with what it entails, which is being famous. you will hear them say how much they Hate It and it might seem legitimate compared to like actors or singers whose whole career depends on *being known*. but for athletes, you sometimes feel like they do it Despite meaning they will be famous because of it. so they might fall a bit more easily into the "ugh why are you obsessed w me!!!" thing, which is again, understandable on some level. imo being an athlete was ultimately one of the best path charles cld have taken because he wants to be perfect and he wants to be loved. so trying to reach perfection While having the support of hundreds of ppl is like a win/win situation, all things considered.... idk why i rambled so much. anyone else is thinking a lot abt charles these days.

I know cosplay takes A LOT of practice but like… I do not have the will lowkey LMAO. I wish I did bc it looks so fun but I do know myself enough to know it won’t be me right now 👎

I’m too aware of myself actually existing and feeling wayyy to present that I’ll just be uncomfortable the whole time.

But ALSO maybe one day know when I sort my shit out and get a bit better and more confident I’ll see if it’s still something I want and try again and actually take the time to learn. But definitely not now 😫
