Quackity had been reluctant when Tommy had suggested going to therapy, but, well, the kid had been insistent that it would help him, and it had seemed to have helped Tommy quite a bit ever since he had been under the care of the Pirate Captain-turned-Mind Healer that was Puffy.

 He had finally resolved to give it a shot after one too many mornings of him waking up from the same recurring nightmares– if one could call them simply that – that his mind had concocted to torment him, memories of cruel words and touches echoing through his mind and body. He felt the panic dancing throughout his lungs and chest, as he laid still as a stone statue in his bed, just waiting for the feeling to go away.

 Enough was enough, Quackity had thought once his panic had dissipated a bit. He was done feeling so scared; it was about time he actually tried to do something about his problems instead of shoving them in a corner and hoping he would forget about them one day. Besides, how bad could therapy possibly be?

The answer was: Very.
