Destielposting continues well into the day (and trends on the hellsite for the whole day)

Second day of Charlotte con takes place, with main focus on Misha's panel that is fun and goodhearted. (it honestly is too chaotic for me to evem try report it. So in few words)

Misha talked about his new show, Jared's pranks, possible book deal, the sorrowful state of queer rep, that we should be angry if someone says that our queer interpretation is wrong and throws in cockles line in context of destiel wedding vows (asked if Cas would want for Dean to vow obedience to him, he said he would like to hear that from jensen

So this was my first ever photo op with Jared (and only the second time I’ve ever seen him, the first being during the Duo session with Jensen an hour earlier) and I just laid down and cried afterwards.

I walked up to him and he got down to my level immediately (just bent his knees) and said “hi”. I didn’t get a word out apart from “hi” with him RIGHT THERE and he was already going in for a hug when I said what I wanted specifically. My first language isn’t English and normally I’m fine, but in that moment it was impossible for me to talk. I finally croaked out “can I just have a really tight, comforting hug” (which at least came close to what I actually wanted to say) and felt a little stupid because he just WAS going in for a hug, but he just smiled and said “sure” and grabbed me sooo tight and put his cheek RIGHT ON MINE and ahh

When the hug was over he asked me where I was from (he definitely noticed my stuttering and my accent) and I said “Germany” to which he replied: “cool!”

And when I was walking away he said “Dankeschön” (after three failed tries) and grinned at me and grabbed my arm and then just PUT HIS HAND ON MY FACE WHILE HE LOOKED INTO MY EYES

The whole thing was probably not longer than 15 seconds but felt like forever. It’s incredible how he makes you feel like the only person in the world in that short time.

I will never get over this moment. I love him so frickin’ much, even more so now that I met him.

Unpopular opinion: Saturday is the most fun day of the whole convention weekend and everyone attend Saturday instead of everyone attending Sunday
