A Thought on LBD #61

Greetings, Fandom.

So I know everyone (including me) is excited for Darcy, what with his bow ties and cursive handwriting and wax seals, but can we take a moment to stop and review that great Charlotte moment?

The hardworking businesswoman, who rarely wavers from her political approach to office relationships, just stood up to her superior -not just superior, but super superior- and basically told him off about a personal matter.

Fandom, why aren't we cheering? Why aren't we celebrating her courage and loyalty? Why are all of the YouTube comments focused on clothing (once again, no offense- bow ties are cool)?

I think that maybe it's just because Charlotte is one of my favorites, but I feel like the side characters and actors really don't get the credit the they deserve during the Darcy-central parts (meaning not just this arc, but also every episode where people were screaming "OMG, I THINK DARCY'S COMING NEXT EPISODE!!!!" or, "GUYS, GUYS, GUYS, WE FOUND OUT A NEW, INSIGNIFICANT DETAIL ABOUT DARCY!!!! HE MUST BE COMING SOON!!!!!").

Now, I'm just as excited as every other fangirl about Darcy (and his wonderful actor, Daniel Vincent Gordh). But when we start brushing aside brilliant moments, characters, and sometimes even the plot, I think we need to pause and appreciate all the aspects that make up the Lizzie Bennet Diaries, not just one.
