#notanexpert
I am not. Def not an expert on the #tweetersphere. Actually, for a long time I didn’t give much of a f&%k about Twitter. I had less than 100 followers and I followed every single newscast, newspaper, TV show, chef, celebrity, hot girl, midget, tweeter re-follower, spammer, that I could find. If it was suggested I would follow. If there was a handle nearby I followed. I had no limits. And my account made no sense at all.
Until one day, while watching TV, I followed and tweeted a TV personality. To be more specific, I tweeted Brandel Chamblee @chambleebrandel the Golf Channel analyst. And he tweeted back. What?? and it wasn’t even about golf!!! It was something about a big cat

That was a game changer for me. This is a guy, that talks about golf on TV, well known, and here he is, replying to my tweet. How awesome was that!
And then it all made sense to me. Twitter was the great equalizer. I don’t have any other way of putting it. I mean, where else could you tweet / text / email, and have (not always, mind you) that person respond to your eloquent comment? I’ve had Jack Dorsey, Charlotte McKinney, Melissa Bolona, Chris Sacca, to name just a few, respond to my random tweets.
Think about it. Unless you’re famous, the chances of someone getting back at you are pretty slim. But in Twitter it can happen!! And it does happen. That’s whats so amazing about Twitter.
