Apparently there’s a comic called Charlton Arrow that is basically a self published fanzine comic book, but the guy behind it is actually in the comic industry and so he got a bunch of famous writers and artists to do stories about old Charlton characters that DC doesn’t own.

Aaaand

One issue has a Gumbo Galahad story in it.

I shit you not.

I’ve joined a group for it on Facebook where the creators actually interact with the fans and one guy says they’re working on another longer Gumbo story.

I’m very happy right now. Who the hell thought I could find new content for a sixty year old character from a comic that lasted four issues?

Just bought issue five of Charlton Arrow and this is the synopsis for the Gumbo Galahad segment:
