It did take a second or two for Apollo to realize that Piper was talking to him, and another few moments to actually react and formulate a response more intelligent than “Mmmm.”
It wasnt his fault that Tristan McLean was so distractingly attractive.

she’s got practice until seven, and she can’t forget about the entire charms book that lays unread on her nightstand. she’s pretty sure it was due back to the library like a week ago, but madam pince and her get along pretty well so reyna is hoping she’ll forgive her just this once. she’s not worried about getting caught— they’re both smarter than that. and reyna won’t lie. something about the thought of sneaking around with piper after hours was kind of thrilling.
reyna readjusts her quidditch gear over her shoulder before giving a short nod, smile tilted in a humored manner.
