[Trace] Trace my muse’s scar purposely ( for sarah? )

to be quite honest, sarah wears the jacket or long sleeves in most places because she simply gets cold easy -- the lodge's air conditioning works especially well. she had just spent the last hour working out, longest workout that she's accomplished in awhile. not that she doesn't mind being busy. for andreja once being someone that wanted to kill her, sarah doesn't even twitch when andreja walks in anymore. she just continues to sit on the bench, water in hand, andreja now her company.

all but maybe one or two of her scars are from the same accident. probably the same exact day. to be quite honest, after her shuttle crash landed -- those days living on survival she barely remembers. it's an absolute blur. but the one andreja touches on her upper arm is simply from debris. blue eyes flick to andreja's hand. her own comes up to wrap around andreja ... and just simply hold it.

somewhere in the back of her mind there's the sound of explosions, shouting. even if she lets herself heal from that trauma, it'll just always be there.

he  draws  in  a  long  breath  through  parted  teeth  ,    mulling  over  it  all  before  he  speaks  .          ❝        …    i  guess  in  this  galaxy  ,    every  little  girl  should  know  how  to  fight  ,    right  ?        ❞        and  he’s  seen  the  way  andreja  fights  .    he’s  seen  the  way  she  holds  her  own  before  ,    as  he  is  no  stranger  to  a  mission  or  two  out  with  her  ,    courtesy  of  constellation’s  asks  ,    and  he  knows  that  she  knows  her  way  with  her  guns  .    laser  rifles  and  pistols  aren’t  exactly  the  type  of  weapon  sam’s  had  in  mind  for  cora  ,    though    …    but  he  supposed  any  weapon  is  better  than  no  weapon  at  all  .    and  none  of  the  rest  of  the  lodge  has  offered  to  teach  cora  anything  of  the  sort  ,    and  if  they  did  ?    well  ,    sarah  seems  a  little  uptight  to  be  teaching  a  child  that  sort  of  thing  ,    and  vladimir  seems  too  unrefined  .    kind  ,    but  lacking  in  tact  .    barrett  would  probably  just  teach  her  ten  thousand  ways  on  how  to  annoy  her  dad  right  along  with  any  lessons  he’d  teach  .    walter  doesn’t  even  know  how  to  fight  .    vasco    …    vasco’s  a  robot  .    case  in  point  .  

andreja  ,    warrior  though  she  is  ,    is  an  inquisitive  and  willing  soul  .    if  he  had  to  pick  someone  to  leave  cora  with  that  wasn’t  just  himself  ,    it  would  probably  be  her  .
