Heyyy peeps! This is my second character aesthetic of Piper Mclean.
Let me know what I should be doing next.
Bard
The loud bois who love making noise! The Bard’s biggest job is to buff their allies and/or debuff their enemies. With a high charisma stat and the skills required to play their instruments they make a lot of their non-combat checks. The first of the two noncombat classes they can stay on the outside edges of combat. But absolutely melt anywhere else. (+Skl (Skill (Noncombat stat)) -HP(Constitution))
Uses Short Swords/Daggers and instruments.
Need to have an instrument of some description.
Bard Classic™(need real name)
These Bards are beautiful players/singers who use their unique talents to inspire their allies to greater efficiency. They buff their allies to do better in combat. They’re able to hold out better than most other Bards, but as a consequence don’t tend to hit very hard, in any medium. (+Defense stats (Wisdom, AC) -Attack stats (Strength, Intelligence))
Buffs and heals
Passive;Hum Along; Within a 5 meter range, Allies get +1 to all stats and get 1 THP(?) per turn.
Super; Performance: Extend Passive range to 20 meters and boost buff to +10 to stats and heal 5 HP per turn. Lasts 4(?) turns.
War Crier
War Criers are like the Bard’s equally talented cousin who just so happened to get into thrasher and black metal instead of pop or classical (or whatever it is normal Bards play). The War Crier’s main job is to debuff and passively damage the enemy with their oppressively loud and intense music. They tend to hit harder than the softer Bards, but tear like paper. (+Attack stats (Strength,Intelligence) -Defense stats (Wisdom, AC))
Debuffs and hurts
Passive; Intimidating Bearing: Within a 10 meter range, Enemies get -1 to all stats and have disadvantage to attacking you(?).
Super: Put on a Show: Extend Passive range to 25 meters and boost debuff to -5 to all stats and enemies take -5 HP per turn. Lasts 2(?) turns.
Charmspeaker
Mystical Bards who have about as much musical talent as anyone else. In fact they’re even physically weaker than basically every other adventurer class out there. Their one saving grace is that the Charmspeaker’s voice is magical and can compel others to do what they normally wouldn’t. The Charmspeaker’s voice is a weapon all its own usually meaning they have to be VERY careful with what they say. (-All Defense status (AC, Constitution, Wisdom))
Very Experimental
Passive;Persuasive: Has advantage on persuasion rolls and can use them during battle to make anyone do whatever you want. (5 per battle/ last 4(?) turns)
Super; Silver Tongue:Speak forcefully and they will obey. Make someone do what you want roll free. (dosen’t work on some enemies) Lasts 5 turns.
