Charlotte is a successful and well connected business woman and international relations representative. She is analytical and straight to the point, and is well respected in her male-dominated field.
She is the mother of Maple, with whom she does not get along well. Maple spends most of her time outdoors on their property or at her worksites running off into the forest, and making her late for meetings. Unfortunately, as global tensions heat up she is not able to step back from her work to spend more time bonding with her.
She is divorced from Paul, and the two still get along very well. His reclusive lifestyle was not compatible with her drive for business. They worked together for the forestry department, with him doing more manual field work and her at a corporate level.
For her job, she visits Ryusaki’s Lab several times over the years, and while they used to get alone well, she is not impressed by his declining mental state and weak leadership. Her connections are key in getting Greenburg his leadership role there, as she feels he is more deserving and would be of greater benefit to her.
