The UK Top 100 Albums chart is littered this week with Greatest Hits collections all boosted by lockdown streaming. 13 of the Top 40 albums are hits packages, 21 others are featured on the rest of the chart. None are registering paid sales in larger numbers than before, they are simply surging thanks to concentrated uplifts in streaming. Chart rules in the UK allow streams of catalogue tracks to contribute to the chart sales of single artist compilations as well as studio albums where they first appeared. . Most notable amongst the hits surge this week is Fleetwood Mac's "50 Years Don't Stop". The 50 track compilation moves up to #11 this week with 3,671 in sales, up 14.3% from last week. .
