Zoey 102 feels like a missed oppertunity for a more traditional second chance romance for Zoey and Chase.
By Senor year they were dating. Over the next 15 years they break up at some point.
Then at Logan and Quinn's destination wedding Zoey and Chase or the only 2 left single in their friend group.
At first, lying to avoid embarrassing themselves in front of their successful friends seems like the easiest scheme they've ever come up with. They have dated before, so it's easy picking up where they left off. Being such good friends makes it seem organic. But Zoey starts falling for Chase all over again. This ends up distracting them from helping with the wedding. And then they have to clean up the mess they've made.
Anne writing her letter to Gilbert that was ultimately ruined before he even saw it is equivalent to when Chase texted Zoey he loved her and her tech mate fell into water.

Why is chase proposing to another girl if he and Zoey gets together in the end of the show? Did they break up? If so when, why, and how? Are they no longer friends? Did chase move too fast for Zoey's comfort? Why does chase have to act like his dad Ted mosby? I realized that Chase is like Ross–obsessed with the same girl forever and kind of a manipulative douchebag (also, I mean, Ross said the wrong name on his wedding day, Chase almost said the wrong name when proposing…i think you get where I’m going with this). Logan is like Joey–totally a womanizer but can actually be really sweet and sincere, and Michael is like Chandler–an all-around funny, sweet, guy, who’s super loyal to his friends
Can we talk about how it's 10 years later and we don't have holograms like Chase predicted?
