Does Alice have multiple personality disorder??? Because Catherine exists but isn't her right???
First just for my sanity and to be according to DSM-5 I will call it DID. Also, I have no experience with it besides being close to the host of a system. No personal experience outside of that. If I get anything wrong please correct me and/or send me stuff to research 🧡
I can definitely see it and it kinda fits how they work. Catherine has suppressed most of what she went through as a child and even sees Alice as "not part of her". It's why she breaks mirrors when she sees her reflection because she sees Alice who she hates. In her mind she is her weakness. Chase is also connected to them. Alice only ran away due to Catherine's conviction.
Aka if she stayed the "Alice" she was, she would have never ran away from her terrible mother. Chase is one who likes to bring up Catherine's childhood, bring up that she's "Alice". Which inevitably makes her overblot, but since he is a part of her Chase overblots with her. Their blot is connected. He's "Chase" because of her and no longer just the looking glass spirit.
It's only after the incident where Catherine accepts that Alice is a part of her that they "fuse". It's why "Shire" has strawberry blonde hair and green eyes. She's also much more complete and can stand up to her mother. In a sense, Alice is the name of the body. However the person the body is now likes to be called Catherine and hates to acknowledge that she was once "Alice". Catherine had a very traumatic and abusive childhood where she was basically broken as a child, so she definitely had to do something just to survive.

"H-huh...?!" She squeaked blushing as her tail fluffed up "I-I...." She grumbled "Parties..?" She tilted her head as she tried to calm herself "I'll check with Queenie.." She started to mumble "what's a party... Are they like our unbirthday celebrations..?" She mumbled to herself.
Faline Frees
"Greetings to you as well." She curtsied, bowing her head before looking up "I would like to thank you for the invitation and would like to extend an invite to you to attend our "swinging wakes" as my dorm leader likes to say." She gave a faint smile, visible eye softening.
Chase Shard
"'Ello to you too." He smirked " A cheeky little party, eh? I'm in. I was standin' around like a lemon in my dorm because they're all out on their own. 'Fraid they don't want to hang out with their dorm leader" he sighed and shrugged his shoulders before his smirk returned.

A circus full of runaways (with inspo from the Noah's Arc Circus from Kuroshitsuji)
Human au (so no beastfolk/monsters) but an Alice in Wonderland themed circus where performers are known by their "role" in the story instead of their real name
"Red Rose" aka Rose, the one who took over after the deaths of the previous ringleaders. And the oldest in the circus
"Glasses bird" aka Altair, the "big brother" of the circus. Rather than having an act he helps behind the scenes
"Jabberwocky" aka Jasper, the snake charmer (think Snake from Kuroshitsuji, "half snake"). The child of the previous ringleaders who was too young to take over.
"Jubjub bird" aka Jensen, the trapeze artist. Very snarky, prefers to be in the air and even when the show is not on he prefers to be hidden up high.
"Cheshire" aka Catherine, does aerial silks. Often argues with Jensen on who is the better aerial act. Part of her act goes dark for black lights
"Bandersnatch" aka Xander, the knife thrower. Very nervous and jumpy when not performing
"White Rose" aka Nathaniel, the tight rope walker. Always a show off, designs his own outfits
"Time" aka Viorel, does the Cyr wheel. Probably the most serious one in the whole circus. Has everyone timed and has them aim to keep the same length of performance every time
"Looking Glass" aka Chase, the beast tamer. Always makes his act more dangerous than the other members would like
But now I wanna draw this/work on this more. I adore the circus aesthetic and would love to try out how this would change current dynamics/ships that I have.

Hateful/angry kiss: Elias x Emery
'I don't know why Vil told me to find Emery, if she really needed potion help she should find me herself. Though, I guess I can't deny an order from him' Elias sighed to himself as he wandered the dorm 'where even is she? She's always so apprehensive' he frowned momentarily 'great more interaction with people who only want one thing-'
"Freeze." A voice spoke coldly which broke Elias out of his thoughts long enough to see an arrow whiz right past him, narrowly missing him as it hit the bullseye. 'Vice dorm leader?' He thought as he looked back at who loosed the arrow only to be surprised on having to lower his gaze. "Are you just gonna stand there like a deer or are you gonna move?!" Emery hissed, normally large doll like eyes glaring at him. Contrary to her normal timidness the girl just looked angered before him. He almost stumbled over his footing as he got out of the shooting range. 'Oh right' "Emery, dorm leader told me that you needed help with potions?" "Huh?" She scowled a bit, about to set for another arrow before lowering her bow.
"Why would I need a nerd's help?" Her words and tone struck a cord in the boy as he failed at maintaining his composure "Well, I excel at potion making and dorm leader specifically told me to help you. " he smiled though gritted teeth "ha, a greenhorn who was about to lose his head is gonna teach me?" She chuckled as she stepped closer to him. She grit her teeth as she looked up at him.
"I don't need your help, pretty boy." She glared up "Dorm leader seems to think differently." His anger was starting to show in his tone as he looked down at her. This motion only annoyed Emery more. The girl clenched her jaw before lifting her bow, swiftly pulling his head down as it was now caught between the upper limb and string "Listen here and listen well. Someone like you is worthless to me, got that?"
She knocked her forehead against his, glaring directly into his eyes. Elias felt his breath hitch in his throat at her sudden action, not expecting any if this from the usually timid girl. "I-" he started, trying to pull away "Shut. Up." She hissed lowly before she smirked "of course, I could always shut you up myself?" She smirked and before he could react she kissed him abruptly. Elias froze for a second, his gasp caught between the kiss before he lightly shoved her away as he caught his breath. Her bow was still on him as Emery covered her mouth.
"Just what were you thinking!" Elias finally shouted as Emery looked up at him with her normal big eyes "W-w-w-what....?" She squeaked, her demeanor entirely different from minutes ago "Why did you.. Kiss me...?" The last words were mumbled. Emery's face went bright red "I-i..." She stammered "I-I need to go...!!" She squeaked as she ran away suddenly "Hey wait-" Elias stood there, whiplashed as he took her bow off of him and held it in his hands 'what the hell just happened???'
Kiss between exs: Chase x Juno
"Just leave me alone!!" Juno huffed as Chase continued to follow her around the dorm "Aww but you're so easy to get a rise out of, little miss fivehead~" the cat chuckled "This is why we broke up, you inconsiderate cat!!" She groaned, glaring up at his stupidly smug face "Aww, then tell me. Why did you fall for me in the first place?" His eyes gleamed as Juno frowned "I was young and stupid!" She blurted out, trying to cut the conversation short "Aren't ya still pretty young and stupid, shorty?" Chase's tail batted back and forth in amusement as Juno only got more and more frustrated.
"I am not! At least I have manners!" She shouted, stomping her foot down before striding away. Chase stopped for a moment before continuing to follow her "You won't even talk to me, for old times sake?" He feigned hurt as he shadowed her "Do you ever learn!!" She grumbled "You know you still love me, pipsqueak ~" he cooed "Do not. You are my ex for a reason!" She raged, face turning slightly red in anger "Aww, come on just admit it." Chase smiled smugly, even leaning down a bit. This was the last straw for her "You pompous cat!!' She shouted loudly, stomping on his foot which made Chase double over slightly in pain. At his reaction she gasped, though she still turned away from him.
"Juno." Chase spoke, finally not teasing. The girl turned around to look at him, not used to hearing him say her name "W-what...?" She took a step closer as Chase still held his foot. "Heh, fooled ya" he winked, pulling her close before kissing her. Juno squirmed for a bit before giving in, kissing back. As they parted Chase smirked "knew you still liked me ~" a quick slap to his cheek made him chuckle "Okay, I deserved that." He smiled, holding his jaw. Juno was red in the face, cheeks puffed slightly "You horrible dorm leader!!!"

Brand burned into his lower back, small scars near his eyes, scars on his torso(bite mark on his hand from Catherine and a claw mark on his hip from Jasper), and scars on his back around his wings(where they attempted to remove them)
Catherine Shire
Missing part of her ear, claw scar (from Jasper), talon scar on her side (from Jensen), slight burn on the back of her neck (from using magic for the first time), scars on her forearms (mom's punishments) and scars on her knuckles(punching mirrors)
Jasper Wocky
Has the most scars(all the ones above), plus burns on his back (from Catherine), talon scars on his legs (from Jensen), assorted scars from transforming for the first time (ex: large scars going down his back from the first time he got his full sized wings) and accidental scars from dealing with his new body (post first jabberwocky transformation)

"Wah, no fair!!" Catherine pouted as Chase chuckled "Life ain't fair, kitty~" he gave a fanged grin as he pulled Stef closer, making the other blush. Catherine looked up behind her "Fay-fay, Mirror is being selfish again" she tried to sound dramatic though Faline only pet her head "Didn't you have your own time with our dear? It's only right the rest of us do as well" she smiled, and though pouting Catherine leaned against her hand, letting the black cat pet her more "Fine fine".
Chase chuckled "You get to be with dolly a lot since you aren't a dorm leader, or a vice dorm leader like Fay here" he gestured to Faline who nodded "Chase, you're going to suffocate him..." Faline sighed as she looked at Stef who struggled to remove himself from Chase's embrace, face red "Oh, sorry dolly" he smiled softly, before putting a hand on Stef's cheek. He grinned, looking at Catherine before kissing Stef. The pink haired cat's eyes widened as they pulled away "You..." Catherine huffed, pressing herself against Stef "my turn" she smiled, wrapping her arms around him as she kissed him, not even giving the boy enough time to break out of his daze.
When Catherine pulled away she leaned against him, smiling happily before sticking her tongue out at Chase. Stef sat there dazed, it never was a dull moment when he was with his trio of loves. As the two younger cats bickered Faline sighed "I swear, sometimes they are too clingy to you" she ran a hand through his hair softly. Stef sighed leaning into the calming touch "Thank you, Faline" the woman blushed a bit, "You're quite welcome. Though..." She trailed off, tilting his chin up "I will also be taking my chance" she kissed him softly, making both Catherine and Chase snap out of it "And with that, we are all even yes?" Faline smiled which made the others nod, calming the mood of the room.
Dominic x Catrina
"And done." Catrina smiled to herself, sighing as she relaxed in her chair. The woman had finally finished looking at all her students assignments, finally getting a moment to herself "I do hope Mozus is fine looking after them. I know he didn't have class today and yet I still feel bad..." She was about to stand up before her classroom door opened. "Cattttt...." A tired professor dramatically called out which made Catrina chuckle "Oh dear, I suppose today was a long day for you amorcito?" Dominic only grumbled "why were so many professors out today?" He pouted.
"Well, most professors who took today off have been teaching for quite some time. They do deserve some time off after all" Catrina smiled "I don't care...." Dominic frowned as he walked closer to her "Love me." He pouted which made Catrina laugh more "Fine, fine" she reached her arms out, giggling as she felt his weight against her "You did a good job today" she smiled, playing with his hair as he relaxed against her. Dominic wasn't expecting the older woman to comply with his childish demand, so he simply hid his face.
"Y-you know I'm not the same kid that you used to make fun of..!" His voice was muffled against her "Sure, sure" Catrina leaned against him "I'm serious...!" He pulled away, putting his hands on her shoulders "You can't just tease me all the time, you can't make me blush like you used to!!" Contrary to his statements the man's cheeks were flushed. Though taken aback slightly Catrina smiled, putting a hand on his cheek "W-what are you doing...?!" Dominic flinched "You're right" Catrina smiled, leaning closer before kissing him. Dominic squeaked, face red as Catrina pulled away "I can make you blush more now" she hummed happily.
Lucien x Dominic
"Are you done yet?" Dominic frowned as Lucien continued to work "Almost, my muse" he beamed back, looking through scripts "You know, we don't get paid for overtime" He tapped his fingers on the stage "I know, but it feels weird to leave things half finished. I used to get punished at the cirque if I did" Dominic tilted his head "Oh ho, a rare story from the mysterious drama professor" he grinned, turning to face Lucien "Well, what is there to say? I was raised at a church controlled orphanage, went to school when I could. And when I graduated from Night Raven I had nowhere to return to, so I joined the cirque" he smiled
"I was working there until Mister Crowley offered me a job" "Boo, say a more fun story" Dominic pouted which made Lucien chuckle "Hmm..." Lucien thought for a bit, putting the pile of scripts to the side "Well, when I first joined the cirque I finally got to travel. As you remember I was quite different as a student-" "Yeah, a total church boy!!" Dominic grinned as Lucien shook his head "I suppose so. The church was all I knew after all. They're why I have my last name. All my parents gave me as an infant was a first name and a golden sun and moon. Nothing else" he smiled sadly "Sorry I brought it up..." Dominic apologized awkwardly "It's quite alright, I've come to terms with it" Lucien kneeled next to him, kissing him softly "After all, if they never left me there I wouldn't have met you"
Slight spoiler for the new chapter (how Catherine would be in this chapter so far. I go on a slight horror tangent)
She has two "versions". First version is if tulgey woods chapter hasn't happened yet. If so she's both distraught and pissed, trying to get Riddle back. She feels guilty for not being around him. She's his "knight" and she failed to protect her "queen".
Other version is if tulgey woods happened before. Catherine is another test subject since she overblots in the chapter. But, Chase overblots in the tulgey woods chapter too because he's connected to Catherine. So, both get captured and it's a "twin experiment" of sorts. Seeing if you hurt Catherine if Chase will take damage or if you hurt Chase will Catherine feel it? Push one to overblot to see if the other follows. 2 for 1 overblot experiment
