Wait so is Chasex host a ting ? can we get some cuddly fluff on that ?(Host pretends having Chase always cuddling up to him bothers him , Chase believes him)
Hosty-Toasty
Chase happily hummed to himself as he headed for the library, knowing that his boyfriend was in there. They’ve been together for a good few months and Chase was finally at that point of being fully comfortable with the other man. He wasn’t scared to be himself around him and he was sure Host was the same way. Chase smiled when he saw that Host was in his usual spot. A large, plush chair that could easily fit two and Host loved sitting in the corner of it, leaving almost over half of the chair empty. Chase quietly walked over to the chair and sat down next to Host, resting his head on Host’s shoulder and hugging his arm.
“Um…Chase?” Host said softly.
“Yeah?” Chase glanced up.
“Host…ugh, Host can’t turn the page.” Host said, showing that with Chase holding him, he was unable to move his hand to flip the piece of paper.
“Oh…sorry.” Chase moved away, tucking his hands between his legs and chewing on his lip. “Sorry for bothering you.” He added before leaving the room.
“Chase…” Host’s voice was barely louder than a whisper.
Chase sat on the couch in the living room, elbows resting on his legs and chin on his palms as his brain did what it always did. Make him overthink and question everything.
Was he being a bother?
Was he being too touchy?
Was Host mad at him now?
“Chase?”
Why couldn’t he just do what was right?
Why did he always do everything wrong?
Why does he always do this?
“Chase, dear?” Chase blinked his eyes, finding that tears had formed in them and were now rolling down his cheeks.
“Host?” Chase’s voice came out as a little croak, seeing that Host was crouching in front of him. “I’m sorry, I just-”
“It’s fine.” Host stated, taking his hand and using his thumb to wipe a tear away. “Host will admit to still not knowing about how to handle a…relationship.” Host could feel his face warming up a little. “He is still working on the concept of ‘cuddles’ and how to get that to work.” Host cleared his throat, now looking down at the ground in embarrassment. He looked up when he heard a little giggle from Chase.
“You’re too cute for words, Hosty-Toasty.”
“The usage of the nickname makes the warm feeling in Host’s stomach grow.” Host mutters his narration, unable to stop himself. Chase just laughed and launched himself off of the couch, ending up knocking Host over and having the two laying on the floor. “I thought I was supposed to be the adorable one?” Chase lightly teased, poking the tip of Host’s nose.”
“Host would like to suggest that they can take turns.” Host chuckled.
“I am perfectly fine with that.” Chase pressed a kiss on Host’s lips. “I also just thought of a way to cuddle and let you read at the same time.”
“Host comments that Chase is a lot smarter than he gives himself credit for.” Host praised, brushing some of Chase’s bangs away from his eyes. Chase just stuck his tongue out in response and scrambled to his feet, running out of the room and heading back to the library, knowing that Host would follow with a smile on his face.
