This is an interesting one! For the sake of giving myself a starting point, I’m going to assume this happens post Blackwell, after things didn’t work out between Max and Chloe for whatever reason. I could see this coming about in a couple of ways:
Chloe and Victoria have a Frenemies-with-benefits thing going whenever they’re in the same city. When Kate and Chloe reconnect, rather than taking Victoria’s place she helps the both of them realize that they care more for each other than they would have ever admitted to on their own, or
Victoria and Kate are in an established relationship, and take Chloe in so that she doesn’t have to deal with the break-up with Max alone. During this time of healing and camaraderie, some unresolved feelings and attraction between the three of them come up to the surface, and what starts as a little fling to help Chloe move on quickly evolves into more.
Victoria is great at keeping the three of them focused and on task, helping her girlfriends set goals and take the steps needed to achieve them. She is also anal about making sure they are keeping up with their meds and therapy appointments, skills she learned from being best friends with Nathan all those years.
Chloe encourages them to be spontaneous, to just drop everything call in sick and go on an unplanned road trip, to get that tattoo they’ve always wanted. Her enthusiasm for living in the moment is absolutely infectious and endearing, even if it does have to be reigned in from time to time!
Kate on the other hand emphasizes the value of self care and relaxation. Immersing themselves the peacefulness of the quiet moments, of taking long walks and reading a good book and just enjoying each other’s company over breakfast and hot cups of tea.
Chloe and Victoria are very competitive with each other in most things, but especially when it comes to cooking. Chloe will pull out all the stops in making her mom’s home cooking, while Victoria actually takes classes to learn how to make fine cuisine to prove that they are the superior chef. They will often try to rope Kate into judging for them, and while she absolutely loves benefiting from so much delicious food, she does try to encourage them to eat healthier when she can get a word in edgewise.
Chloe and Victoria also fight a lot, which unnerves Kate until she realizes that the metaphorical slap-slap-kiss is just the dynamic that works for them. Nowadays she mostly just leaves them to it, while keeping an ear out to make sure the claws don’t come out too much (or to let them know when they need to be putting all their aggression to better uses ^_~)
All three girls are switches, though Kate has more tendencies towards topping and Victoria bottoming. Kate definitely relishes the opportunity to have her girlfriends make it up to her after being especially naughty and extra in their day-to-day lives, and of being the center of both Chloe and Vic’s attentions at once!
