1 Corinthians 11:24-26 NIV
[24] and when he had given thanks,
he broke it and said,
“This is my body, which is for you;
do this in remembrance of me.”
25] In the same way, after supper
he took the cup, saying,
“This cup is the new covenant in my blood;
do this, whenever you drink it,
in remembrance of me.”
26] For whenever you eat this bread
and drink this cup,
you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.
Participating in communion is for my inspiration
To recall a great memory, even if tragic, will insight inspiration
That is why, even a day set aside to commemorate the crucifixion and death of The Christ can still be called good
This is one of the juxtapositions of humanity: to celebrate that which was mourned
It was a divine appointment for Jesus to die on the cross because out of it confirmed the greatest known truth to all of the world, that God so loves this world that He gave His only begotten son that who so ever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life
It was not nails that held Christ to the cross but it was His love and an unqualified resolution to do the Fathers will as stated by DA Carson - a well known Bible scholar
Christ did as the Father intended and did it for my good
Today, God's Friday, is also Good Friday
Today I thank The Christ for His commitment to His love, His love for me - the love that kept Him hanging on the cross.
I do not deserve Your loving kindness nor Your goodness, but You still keep me covered under the covenant of the cross.
I bless You Lord inwardly and outwardly
Thank You for loving me and help me to tell others about You.
Deuteronomy 13:4 NIV
[4] It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him.
Enthusiasm and intelligence are the cornerstones of excellence. Excellence will always lead to success. God wants me to be successful. I am called to be excellent, not perfect. Do not prolong where I can not be excellent. Do not delay my success.
Don't repay evil with evil.
Don't repay evil with evil.
Don't do what they did to you.
If you do, how are you different from them?

In sales, there is this quote that you eat with your eyes first. If the item or the sale itself is appealing, the customer will indulge further. That goes for food, cars or even a president or king.
Looking the part is critical to the way HUMANS think and how HUMANS go about making a selection or a choice or a decision
Now, there is a difference between a selection a choice and a decision - for HUMANS
A selection is the process of picking one item from a group of more than one. A selection can be motivated by almost anything like the time of day or the date. A selection can also be made randomly like a random selection
A choice is different from a selection in that it incorporates a comparison of sorts; where one option is compared to another option and the options are weighed, and a choice is made. If the choice is unsatisfactory, then another choice is made. Choice indicates options.
A decision, however, eliminates options. By that I mean, when a decision is made, all other options are cut off - a decision calculates the best choice and then eliminates all other options. Like when a student decides which college they will attend. Once the decision is made, all other options are cut off.
These are human strategies which help us navigate survival and growth. From these, you may be wondering which strategy does God use: selection, choice or decision theory?
The answer is none of these. For God’s ways are not our ways.
