Kevin Smith Teases Releasing 'Jersey Girl: The Snyder Cut' Kevin Smith is up for releasing an extended cut of his maligned 2004 film Jersey Girl, as long as they call it Jersey Girl: The Snyder Cut. As a way of parodying HBO Max's upcoming project Zack Snyder's Justice League, Kevin Smith said that he wants to release a "Snyder Cut" of his 2004 film Jersey Girl. During an episode of his podcast Fatman Beyond, Smith first mentioned that there were no future plans to release a director's cut for any of his films. "There's a very long cut of Jersey Girl, which, recently, Paramount took over Miramax, they've got most of the library and stuff, and they were talking about, 'Hey, we wanna put out Jersey Girl this year,' and I was like, 'Well I have the extended cut, which I've shown at Vulgarthon,' and if they allow me to, I wanna call that 'Jersey Girl: The Snyder Cut.'"
