{{So...I was listening to random songs and...I got inspired to do a random drabble...}}
“I sense there’s something in the wind, that feels like tragedy’s at hand~” Once again, the girl found herself alone in the room, her fingers on the keys of the old piano being the only sound in the silence that enveloped the rest of the house. “And though I’d like to stay by him, can’t shake this feeling that I have…the worst is just around the bend~” Her brother and cousin were out, for how long she didn’t know, but it was perfect timing for recording something. Nikki was not one to speak of her feelings, especially to others, on the belief that there were already to many problems in the world, so what was the use in sharing hers? But on occasion, she’d write a song or two…just to let go some of those pent up feelings she had, and it was even rarer that she’d record them, but she felt that this just needed to be…heard. By who she didn’t know, but never the less she kept playing, thinking about a single boy in particular. “And does he notice, my feelings for him? And will he see how much he means to me? ….I think it’s not to be~” She knew one day he wouldn’t be the same, gone mad…turned into a monster. Yet, she couldn’t stop thinking about it, even if it only brought more worries and sadness to the weight of her heart, and admittedly more scars than were from battle and other incidents…but she couldn’t help it. “What will become of my dear friend? Where will his actions lead us then?~” The thought was always there in the back of her mind, even when her sibling or cousin would try to reassure her with kind words and smiles, it was like a storm cloud in the back of her head. 'One day….you might have to kill him…no…no it won’t be you, you wouldn’t be able to do it…but you might have to…’ “Although I’d Like to join the crowd, in their enthusiastic cloud, Try as I may it doesn’t last~” It was hard to think theses things, especially since the young man she’d come to know seemed anything but a monster. She knew his secrets, and he knew hers. She knew he wasn’t an angel, she knew he left a body or two, if not a trail of corpses where ever he was when he wasn’t with her. He was no angel, but that just made them all the more alike. “And will we ever, end up together? Oh…..”
“And will we ever, end up together?
No. I think not,
For I am not the one.~”
And admittedly…she loved David. More than she thought she had ever loved anyone…
