He’s a very in the moment type of person so he’d probably only reply based on what he was feeling at any specific instant. From day to day, he’s happy about 50% of the time. He does consider himself an optimist, but gets annoyed easily at little things. At the same time it’s not hard to put him in a good mood if even little things go his way.
In terms of in general, it’s difficult to answer because he’ll never be truly happy until he’s beaten Motherboard, but it isn’t as if every moment of his life has been miserable. During the time after he’d become disillusioned with Motherboard, but while he was still living in Control Central was probably the most miserable point in his life. Once he left, he became more hopeful about where he was headed. When he finally made the decision to betray Motherboard, the feeling was incredibly feeling even if it would be months before it would actually happen.
